“Rise to the top by controlling magazine content!”

Always seek knowledge. Don’t waste time and money doing things on your own. Trial and error can be extremely costly, ruffle your feathers, and make you want to quit. Instead, seek out people that can analyze your business. They have an outside perspective that can recognize what doesn’t work.

Find mentors and partners that can help you fix your business problems. Pay them for their time. Read their material such as their books, teleseminars, and courses. If you want to grow your business and keep your head above water then you can’t be your own island.

If you want to stand out from the crowd you need to something very unique and different. You can’t blend in with your competitors. If you don’t have name recognition then customers will choose your competitor’s products over yours. You need to utilize marketing tools in a specific, strategic manner in order to gain credibility and familiarity with your customers and potential customers.

What marketing techniques can you use to stand out? One example, you can seek out the cover spot of magazines in your niche. If you are on the cover of a magazine you will earn instant credibility. This credibility is a powerful tool that will enable you to rise above your competitors.

The key is to have control over what is written about you in magazines. If you leave the writing up to a magazine journalist then you are putting yourself in danger. Why? The magazine journalist has control. They can write what they want about you and often times it is wrong. Therefore, you should write the content yourself. This will give you control.

It is also critical to you don’t sound like a salesman in your article. Why not? If you have a direct sales pitch then, by law, the magazine must have the word “advertisement” at the top of your article. This is detrimental to your credibility and people won’t take you as seriously. They will feel that they are being sold to. This will turn away customers.

What should write about in your content? You need to give information about what you know. You need to teach your readers. Make readers feel like they have learned something from your article. Learning this information is perceived as high value. Customers will feel that you are not out to take their money. Instead, you are there to help them.

Can you incorporate any of your sales pitch into your magazine article content? Yes. You can do this in the bio section. Usually at the bottom of the article is a small box with your bio. Put your name and website in the bio. Also make sure to put a call to action in the bio. This call to action is your indirect sales pitch.

“Are you a Ladder or Treadmill Entrepreneur?”

Did you know that once people seriously decide that they want to make a huge change in their business it will often happen within 90 days? This decision has to be expressed either verbally or written for this result to happen. It is possible. So make your serious decision today that you are going to start and run your own Internet business.

There are two types of entrepreneurs: Treadmill entrepreneurs and Ladder entrepreneurs. Treadmill entrepreneurs work hard all there lives and nothing really happens. Ladder entrepreneurs work by increasing their effort on a consistent basis.

Think about it this way. Look at how much you charge per hour. Are you charging this rate based on the physical amount of time or is it based on the leverage you have to provide? For example, consultants who have expertise in a desired area can charge far higher rates per hour because they are leverage their knowledge, skills, and experience. These types of entrepreneurs are ladder entrepreneurs in that they realize their time is worth more because of their expertise.

Tip: You want to be a ladder entrepreneur.

Making decisions that advance you forward are uncomfortable. You have to overcome this uncomfortable feeling if you want to accomplish your goals. Don’t be afraid of the obstacles or new ventures. Instead, embrace them and your business will grow like crazy. You will be glad that you made the effort to try new things. Do note that you should never stop growing. You will always have new obstacles and uncomfortable situations to overcome. That is part of what makes running your own business exciting and profitable.

Be prepared for growth and success. Many new Internet entrepreneurs go full force into their Internet business. This is good except too often they experience quick massive growth that they were not prepared for. If you aren’t ready to deal with success then your Internet business and reputation could suffer. For example, you may do such a great job at marketing that your first product launch brings in thousands of orders. However, your fulfillment department can’t handle all the orders. You have to plan ahead for massive growth so you can handle it like a star player when it comes your way.

Following this wisdom and you will create a rock solid, profitable Internet business.

“3 Mistakes that could Cripple your Internet Business”

Having an Internet business is exciting. However, don’t forget to keep learning or your excitement could quickly turn to despair when you make mistakes. What are common Internet business mistakes? There are several mistakes that you can fall prey to if you aren’t careful. Keep reading to find out how to identify and avoid these three Internet business mistakes.

Internet Business Mistake 1: 99% of people focus on their product and their delivery service. They neglect their sales pitch. You need to understand ways to communicate to people so that they will listen to you instead of your competition. And you not only want them to listen to you, but you want them to follow through and buy your products and services.

Internet Business Mistake 2: People focus too much on the technology of marketing. For example, they try to make their sales letters and website flashy. This is a mistake. The psychology of marketing is more important. The psychological techniques used for decades in traditional direct response marketing hold true for the Internet as well. You have to understand how to connect with your potential and current customers.

Internet Business Mistake 3: People focus too much on the product. It is not what product you create, but how you package the product. It is how you convey the value of the product you offer. Be careful that the value you offer in the sales letter matches what the product.

For example, don’t write an exaggerated sales letter just to get sales. Customers may by your product based on this sales letter, but then they will be extremely disappointed when the product doesn’t live up to their expectations. Instead, you should create a product that over delivers on any promises and claims you made in the sales letter. This will result in a happy customer that will then buy even more products from you.

“6 Top Business Mistakes”

6 Top Business Mistakes:

Business Mistake 1: People don’t have a marketing mindset. They undervalue the value of marketing. It doesn’t matter if you are people person or computer savvy. If you have no clients to sell to then you aren’t going to make money. Marketing is the fuel that enables you to drive the car of your Internet business.

You should also understand marketing and not simply outsource it. You can outsource the actual physical tasks, but you should understand the concepts behind the marketing. This will enable you to keep tabs on your marketing efforts and make sure that you are on track to success.

Business Mistake 2: People that are transaction marketers instead of relationship marketers. Too many people focus on selling one product to a customer. The more lucrative and easier method is to build a relationship with a customer so they continue to buy from you over and over.

You can maximize profits through relationships. For example, you can have a membership website that not only builds your relationships with your clients, but also earns you recurring income each month.

Business Mistake 3: People think that name recognition is more powerful than direct response marketing. This is a fallacy. Your goal is to receive a response. In other words, you want people to buy your products and not just think that you are a celebrity.

Business Mistake 4: People don’t understand the difference between marketing and selling. Selling is something you do on the phone or in a face to face meeting. Marketing is what you do to get people on the phone with you. Marketing enables you to position people so that they are pre-qualified, predisposed, and interested in giving you money. You can do all your selling in advance with the right type of marketing message.

Business Mistake 5: People don’t understand the value of a message. Think about money. A $1 and a $5 bill use the same type of paper, but they give completely different messages. One bill is worth more than other bill. The Internet is like the type of paper. Your message is like the monetary value of the bill. Do you convey a $1 message or a $5 message?

Business Mistake 6: People don’t convey practical information in their marketing and advertisements. They spend too much time creating a pretty logo and boasting claims. They don’t realize that you will reel in more customers if you provide them with information they can use and are interested in.

"Step by step instructions from 43 millionaires"

I remember driving through an ultra expensive neighborhood and wondering, “What do these people do and how can I figure out what they know?”

Perhaps you’ve had a similar thought too.

Well, it’s exactly this kind of thought that led to publishing a magazine called “Millionaire Blueprints”.

Perhaps you’ve seen it on the newsstands since it’s an award winning publication!

Imagine what it would be like to sit down to a cup of tea and have an informal conversation with the residents of those houses?

What if you could ask each millionaire on that block what they did EXACTLY to make their millions? And what if they told you step-by-step?

Would you listen?

Would you take notes?

You can bet I would.

And that’s exactly what Millionaire Blueprints magazine does every month. Not just once but hundreds of times. But this note isn’t about the magazine

(though I do highly recommend it).

It’s about a new book called “Prepare to be a Millionaire” where 43 of the all-time best blueprintsfrom the magazine have been pulled out for you.

http://promotingtips.com/greatbook

That’s right, 43 real-world millionaires from all walks of life, young and old, detailing exactly how they achieved their success in a candid interview giving you their step-by-step plan of what they did, how they did it and what resources they used.

Whatever your dream is – you’ll find a model here.

I’m talking about everything from succeeding on the Internet to real estate to your own invention to profiting from the service industry, the food industry and even arts and entertainment.

Imagine having the opportunity to take a successful business person’s “millionaire blueprint” and follow in their footsteps, learning from their experiences beforehand without going through the tough times they went through, avoiding many of the mistakes they made.

Get your copy today and get thousands worth of bonus gifts at no cost from the industry greats — Yanik Silver, James Malinchak, Matt Bacak, Russell Brunson and so many more.

You’ll learn how to obtain start-up capital, implement “tried and true” marketing strategies, and find invaluable manufacturing sources.

And the resources? Man, the resource section alone is priceless! Included in the book are current website addresses, contact phone numbers and email addresses of the exact companies each millionaire used in achieving their success.

Now the biggest question is “Why would these millionaires share their insights?”

That’s easy. the most successful people I have met seem to want to give back. This is the roadmap they wished they had when they got started. Once you have the map, the next step is up to you.

“Get that response!”

What is direct response marketing? Direct response marketing can occur in both the offline and online venues. Direct response marketing in the offline venue is composed of pieces mailed to your home. These pieces are most often referred to as junk mail. Direct response marketing in the online venue is composed of sales letter on Internet business websites as well as sales copy on websites, emails, and voice broadcasts.

The purpose of direct response marketing is to get your name out to potential customers and to also illicit a response in return. In the online world you can use the same formulaic techniques that have worked for years in the offline world.

You can learn through the school of hard knocks or you can learn through the experiences of others. Which learning method do you think is easier? The school of hard knocks involves figuring things out on your own and making mistakes. This is a difficult way to learn, hence the name “hard” knocks.

Learning from the experiences of others, on the other hand, is much easier. You can take advantage of the experience and wisdom gained by people that have gone in the same footsteps before you. You can snap up this information through reading books, listening to teleseminars, attending seminars, and the list goes on and on. The key is to find a proven system that works. Then follow the system and duplicate the same successful results as the system creator.

ELF Marketing: Easy, lucrative, and fun.
There are tons of ways to make money in the world. You can run a hard, frustrating business that is lucrative. You can also run a business that is easy, lucrative, and fun. You can turn a hard, frustrating business into an easy, lucrative, and fun business.

How do you convert your business into an easy, lucrative, and fun business? Examine each business task that you do. Is the task hard and frustrating? If so, write it down. Then seek out information about how to make this task easy, lucrative, and fun. You can find this information more easily than you think because many people have been in the same situation before you. Use their experience and systems to benefit your business right now and turn it into a great business.

Today after yesterdays removal of Fronpage Extensions from there technology offerings, Microsoft released the binaries for there Office line of products. This can be a boon for developers looking to build applications that integrate with the office line as well as read and write office format’s. like them’ to help them make their buying decisions!

Think about that for a minute … ‘someone who is just like them’ .

If you had a way to immediately gain the trust of visitors
to your website with ‘someone who is just like them’, AND put
more money in your pocket, would you do it?

I thought so! I would too. all day long!

you already know their names? And that they’re

PPC, banner ads or Adsense, none of that.

influence. where you are considered to be a trusted
friend not a pushy salesman . all the while putting
more money in your wallet.

“What type of topic should a public speaker talk about?”

If you have information that people can make money with or save money with it then it is a monetary topic. If they can’t make money or save money with that topic then it is a non-monetary topic. Every presentation topic fits in one of these two categories.

So which topic should you speak about as a public speaker? Before I give you the answer, first take a moment to think about it. If you were in the audience would you want to listen about a topic that will make you money or a topic that has no financial potential? Of course you want to listen to content that will make you money. Therefore, as a public speaker you should speak about a monetary topic because that is what people wan to hear. In addition, you will earn more money. You can sell things for a much higher price because of the higher perceived value of your speech.

How can you turn non-monetary topics into monetary topics? Let’s look at golf. The topic of golf is a non-monetary topic. You can turn golf into a monetary topic by teaching people how to increase their business through golf or a similar angle. You can then charge more money because you will be training people how to expand their business through golf or their golf business.

Tip: Basically, your public speaking and training should be considered an investment and not just an expense. If you can convey that your training is valuable and a great investment then you will earn more money from your audience plain and simple.

Training is highly lucrative because the top Internet business gurus know that continuing education is the secret to success. They invest thousands of dollars each year in continuing education. Your public speaking can be continuing education that people flock to every year. At the same time you should keep learning as well. The more you know, the more you can contribute in your public speaking, and the higher value your public speaking will garner. Continuing training is your best friend in more ways then one as both a public speaker and a listener in the audience.

Matt Bacak
