One of the best strategies to use for joint venturing your product is to offer as much commission as possible to your partners. Remember, most people are greedy so the more money you can give them, the more enticing it will be for them. The more money they make from you, the more they’re going to mail for you later on, so it is definitely something you want to seriously consider.

Another good idea is to extend the life of the cookie. For those that don’t know, a cookie is built into the link your partners give to their customers that identifies them as the referrer. Extending the life of this cookie gives your partners a chance to earn a commission from a customer either now or a year from now depending on the cookies shelf life.

A third reason someone might decide to mail is because they want to be part of the crowd. So if you find a big name to mail for you, more people are likely to join because of that. All of a sudden you have obtained additional credibility.

A fourth reason people will mail for you is out of sympathy. You really don’t want to have people mail for you from a sympathy perspective, but if they mail from a sympathy perspective and then actually make some money, they’ll be more likely to mail again.

Now, how do you get joint venture partners? Well, there are a couple of things you could do. First of all, you could go to either JVNotifyPro or ProductLaunch and subscribe to their list of all the major launches, analyze the data that they send you, find out which launches were successful and then you find the top five or ten JV partners. Then contact them through their contact forms or support tickets and start building a relationship with them..

The next thing that I would suggest is going on Google and searching for popular keyword phrases in your niche. This will help you find other people inside your niche that may be interested in becoming a partner. For example, you might be in the “money attraction niche” and would therefore want to search for “money attraction tips”, “money attraction ezines”, “money attraction e-course”, etc. What you’re doing is looking for people that have a squeeze page.

Once you find people that have a squeeze page then you want to contact those individuals. Sometimes you can go to the bottom of their squeeze page to see their contact details, but if not you can go to a place called DomainTools.com. Once there, type in their URL and you should be able to find the contact information for the owner of the website. A lot of times you can also get their phone numbers, too.

One other thing we do with our joint venture partners is we get permission from five of them to trade their names and email addresses to other JV partners in the whole spirit of creating new JVs. Then we swap JV contact information for those other JV partners. This is helpful in that it allows us to make deals quickly. What happens are we having this other thing we call Promote and what we do is we turn JV requesters into cash?

So if somebody contacts us about doing a joint venture, we say, “Hey, listen, mail for us and then we’ll see if that works.” And another thing we also do is we just go through the old autoresponder blast and sees who hasn’t mailed for us and we just ask them to mail for us.

Hopefully this information can give you a general idea and help you find more joint ventures. These are the same tactics we use in my office and we’ve never had any problems finding contacts.

If you really want to scale up your internet business and really gain more leverage, you are going to have to outsource various tasks of your business to different people. This is exactly what I do to help grow my business.

One great person that you could use to do a lot of your web design and graphic design is Vaughn at Killer Covers. That’s exactly who I personally use. If you want to get your websites and web pages set up as well as direct response pages, squeeze pages and opt-in pages or whatever else, you might want to go to Webmaster4Hire.biz. They are both very thorough and professional and do an excellent job. They understand online marketing so that makes things a whole lot easier.

Anything you can do to outsource out is going to be a lot easier for you because you’re leveraging other people’s time to make things happen. The big tip I offer anyone outsourcing is to make sure that your contractors are direct response savvy. They need to be familiar with direct response marketing. You don’t want to just get anyone that thinks they know graphics and graphic design. They need to understand how it works in the online marketing world. You want to hire people that know about direct response and that would be the first concern. The other thing you want to make sure of is that you’re utilizing contractors who other people have used. For example, a lot of my clients have used Webmaster4Hire.biz, which shows that they must obviously know what they are doing.

My experience with outsourcing has been both good and bad. It’s a hit or miss. I mean, sometimes it’s either the communication back and forth that is the problem, where you tell them one thing but they do something else. However, once you get somebody that’s good, keep them in your rolodex and take care of them. If you build a strong working relationship with them, they’ll not only do a good job every time, but they’ll be eager to do work for you again in the future. They’ll also be more willing to do rush jobs for you simply because they like and respect you.

If you want to get well-written content for your website, I highly recommend WorkaHolics4Hire. They provide a great content and transcription service that surpasses any other service I’ve ever used. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience with them. There was only one time that I tried to make them do something I knew that they probably couldn’t do but they said they could and then they couldn’t get it done. This was a mistake on my part. Don’t do the same thing. Just make sure that your expectations are realistic.

Once in a while you can find good people off of Elance. I’ve had hit or misses with Elance. I’ve actually found some amazing people at Elance and some really horrible ones, but I would still say it is a great place and worth a try.

Another place is Scriptlance. I’ve never personally had good experience with Scriptlance, but I’ve had a lot of friends who have. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. It may just work out.

However, one thing to keep in mind when you are hiring a freelancer is don’t just go by price. I think that’s a really, really important tip. Sometimes you might find the cheapest person is going to give you the worst work. But sometimes it might not be that way. They could end up giving you the best work simply because they are trying to get established in their business. However, the point I’d like to emphasize is don’t just skimp out on price. If you’ve got somebody that’s working for you, someone that you’re going to use to make money, paying somebody a couple of extra bucks to make sure it gets done right is going to save you a lot of headaches, like it did for me. Do your research, take some chances, find out that others have used and this should get you further ahead in your business and in accomplishing more in less time.

If you want to offer something for free to your prospects and visitors, you need to strategically lay out a proper plan of action in order to get the most out of your visitors. You need to remember that you want to make money and the quickest way to do it is to build a solid foundation. That foundation has to do with relationships.

If you build a relationship with your visitors, you’ll not only gain respect but you’ll also gain credibility. However, relationships are not the only thing that’s important for those visiting your website. People want pertinent information that they can use. If you give them good, solid information that’s not readily available anywhere else and make that information easily digestible, you’ll have a huge following in no time. Free offers are always an excellent way to build your list quickly.

So, what do you need to do to properly market your product and upsell to your prospects? Well, a good strategy is offering them a free audio right at the beginning. Another thing you need to remember also is if you’re going to make other offers to your list through your squeeze page, I suggest you create affiliate links so that people can be driven straight to your sales letter with your offer. However, definitely do try the free audio and CD offer as that works wonders. It’s amazing how much a personal touch can do to gain you a more loyal following.

Make sure that your free audio clearly reinstates who you are and why they should listen to you. Really establish yourself as an expert. Of course, give them a few techniques and strategies. But basically inside that audio, planting a seed for them to go and get that CD is the surest way to make a ton of money fairly quickly.

I was recently asked what the newest process or product I was working on, as well as what the newest thing I’ve learned is. That’s a great question! I’ve currently been looking at my existing website and addressing the existing business model to see if it’s the most viable model for me. I’m currently split testing various pages of my site and looking at the strategies I’m using to see if those strategies and methods can be improved for greater profits.

One of the biggest parts of my business that was a huge money maker for me at the beginning for the longest time, which I kind of got away from was my membership continuity program. This has made me a lot of money. I’ve kind of taken it for granted and not looked at further ways to use it to make even more money. It’s not good to become to content with your business. Always look for new ways to improve it.

Also, I started getting rid of having my sales team, which I still don’t have in-house like I used to. The other thing is I got away from was doing all the teleseminars and seminars circuits. On these circuits I focused heavily on selling high-ticket items. That is really the only method I used to sell them – through seminars. So now, one thing I decided to do is focus specifically on these income streams that have and continue to make me an amazing income stream. I thought why don’t I just go and re-establish these old income streams and just start making a hell of a lot more money! Right now I’ve decided to do a ton of teleseminars to sell bigger ticket items. Why? Well, because this method of making money has made me a lot of money so why re-invent the wheel? I’ve decided to do more of these events while also looking at improving my conversion rates using the teleseminar circuit strategy.

One of the biggest things I’ve been thinking about is how I can offer a big ticket item that would be the most beneficial to people. I want to offer something that more people would be willing to exchange their money for. So what is that? You too should think about this in your existing niche. What is it that you could sell to your existing list that would create a hunger for them to purchase? What can they not do without? That’s how you can make a lot of money in your niche but you need to focus on bigger ticket items so that you put in the same effort but for greater returns.

So basically, that’s what I’ve been thinking about lately. I’m focused on jumpstarting my teleseminars/webinars again and also jumpstarting the sales team process internally. These are the two business models that I’m heavily testing. I’ve also been doing a ton of split testing on a lot of pages using Hypertracker. Many of my new internet marketing students get confused between the concept of a sales page and an actual branding site. What is the difference? Does your product need both? Do you need a squeeze page and a sales letter before you have a branding site?

Well, okay, so let’s just explain what a branding site is and then also what a sales letter is for you real quick. A branding site is a site that’s specifically designed for one purpose and that is to brand you. Most graphic designers or web designers will design those. A branding site exists to provide all the information about you, your company, your products, testimonials, events, contact info, store, etc. It’s branding you and your company. So basically, it has all these different places for people to click around to find out more about you.

Now if you are trying to sell from such a site through your own store, that’s fine. However, a store usually carries several different products and packages and as far as conversion goes such a site may be confusing for a visitor. Why? Well, it’s because they don’t have a clue of where they should start or what product(s) they need to buy. A confused mind never takes action and the more times you ask somebody to click, then the less sales you’re going to make or the less actions people are going to take. Now, don’t get me wrong, having a branding site is really good to brand you, your company and everything you’re doing, but it is totally different from a sales letter site in its function.

A sales letter site is specifically designed for one purpose and that is to sell something. It may be to sell one particular thing or one particular product. For example, you could have a sales letter site specifically designed to sell your book. You could have another to specifically sell a course you are offering. You could have yet another to get people to enroll in a seminar. When you have a sales letter site, it is specifically designed to sell one thing.

Now, does your product need to have both? You could, but having a choice I would much rather see you having a sales letter page, more than I’d like to see you have a branding page. However, the branding page is good because it gives customers more to see.

Do you first need to have a squeeze page and a sales letter before you create the branding page? A squeeze page is always a good thing to start off with. If you have a squeeze page specifically designed to sign people up to your newsletter or whatever it is you’re offering this is an excellent idea because since you have their name and email address you can make offerings to them again and again. This will allow you to make even more money in the long run. But make sure that at the time you’re capturing their information, always direct them to a sales letter page selling them something. After they’ve gone through these first two stages, you can then refer them to your branding site to learn even more about your company.

Build your brand once you already have a following of eager willing to buy visitors. Build a relationship and then start branding yourself from there. Once your list gets to know you, they’ll more readily be able to trust you, understand your brand and want to stay with you for the long haul.

Being only slightly familiar with the online world we all know how we are constantly being bombarded by sales messages coming from every direction. Our inboxes are constantly flooded with marketing messages. Everyone is trying to sell you something. So, what is the best way to stay focused when there’s so much information being thrown at you daily? Well, the best way to stay focused as you learn to master everything about online marketing and how you can use it to build your own empire, will take a bit of creativity. Although this creativity is very simplistic, it will get you moving fairly quickly.

So, what you can do to learn the ropes is to pick somebody that you want to follow and get their system down. It’s best to learn from a marketer who has been successful and is making good money doing what they do. Look at their email sequences, email style, marketing strategies and everything else. Follow them and only them and don’t follow anybody else. This will allow you to properly follow and get a proven system going.

Once you’ve discovered and mastered how they approach their online marketing, you can begin to focus on using multiple traffic strategies. Look at your "mentors" opt-in page setup and do the same thing but whatever you do don’t copy it exactly. Simply follow their style and approach. Set up your opt-in page, doing email marketing as well that is action focused. Get your reader to take action by sending them useful information and product recommendations that will not only help you, but will help them as well.

So, let’s just say that you choose that you want to do even better with your online ads like Google AdWords, for example. What you’ll need to do is you’ll want to go to somebody that’s a true Google AdWords expert and then get them to really hone in on your skills in the Google AdWords area. Once you have your ad campaign set up and running, you’ll need to go through the learning curve and get things going from there. Once you do that you’ll then need to move into other things. So that’s something to think about while you’re going around and making things happen from there. Focus and learn from the best. You can’t go wrong!

Any real business person knows that the way to make the most amount of money is to partner with others in similar businesses. If you can leverage your efforts you can make a lot of money. In the online world, partnerships are known as joint ventures. When you reach an agreement with someone to join forces in order to make the most amount of money, that’s often referred to as joint venturing. If you search for the term online by entering the words “joint venture” into any search engines search box, you will find out exactly what it is as well as how you can establish partnerships in order to make a lot of money.

So to better explain joint ventures, let me run you though an example. Let’s say you’re in the dog training niche. There’s somebody out there that has a list in the dog training niche. They have a website with a huge following and a list of already targeted individuals interested in dog training. You’ve got a dog training product. You approach that person and you say, “Hey, listen, I’ve got this product. I’ll pay you 50% of the money of every sale that you make if you send an email out to your list promoting my product”. But you have to make it as simple as possible for your joint venture partner. You can do this by doing all the work for them. Give them the exact email to send, along with the subject line. Tell them to send the email out to their list and let them know that for every person that buys, you’ll pay them 50% in 30 days. That’s the best way to do it.

Basically, the joint venture is going to send out an email on your behalf in order to sell your product. They’re sending out the email to their list and then you’re splitting the earnings. You can do it the opposite way, where you have a list of people that are into dog training, and somebody else has a product that they want you to promote. You could promote their product and get 50% of the sale doing very little. You’d simply send out an email on their behalf. Basically, joint venturing is really affiliate marketing. It’s the same thing. It’s just a sexy word they call affiliate marketing.

Just imagine somebody with a large list sending out a mailing promoting your product! If they mail out for you, you could make a crapload of money. It’s one of the best ways you can ever get people to do something for you. It’s a win-win for both you and your JV partner. If you have not yet considered joint venturing, I highly recommend it. It can make you a ton of money. It’s well worth the effort!
