“Do you or your accountant know these tax codes? They can save you thousands of dollars in taxes.”

Building lasting wealth can elude you if you don’t have the right information. This information is not taught in college or law school. This information was learned the hard way by an attorney. He figured out that he didn’t make any money unless he was working. The moment he went home he stopped making money. To earn a lot of money he had to work 90 hours a week. This type of career meant that he was chained to his work. And unfortunately, this is the type of career that most people have.

The secret to being wealthy is to not work harder for your money, but to have your money work harder for you. While a college education is beneficial it doesn’t give you the tools to create lasting wealth.

What does it mean to build lasting wealth? It doesn’t necessarily mean making more money. Building lasting wealth is about being organized and growing your wealth. You are constantly expanding your wealth. It is not how much money you make, but how much money you keep.

Once your business is working well and humming alone you have two obstacles to face which include: taxes and lawsuits.

Obstacle #1: Taxes
The average person pays 42-55% in taxes. Federal taxes can be up to 39%, state taxes can be up to 9%. FICA/social security taxes take big chunks of your money. You can’t avoid the FICA and social security taxes. Social security is a 7-8% tax plus your employer has to match that so social security tax is really 15%.

If you own your own business then you have to pay the full 15% of social security tax plus self employment tax. If you don’t know any tax strategies then you could end up paying 50% of your income in taxes!

By utilizing the right tax strategies you can slash your 50% in taxes to only 4-5%! This is legal if you know the proper strategies. This is why the rich get richer because they know how to significantly cut their taxes. They use these tax savings for activities that earn them even more money.

All of these tax strategies are legitimate. They come directly out of the US Government tax code book. Your accountant may not even be aware of these codes. They may tell you that you can’t do such and such, but you can point out the exact code in the tax code book. These strategies are fully legal and will not cause any red flags from the IRS.

Essentially, these tax strategies are part of the “educated tax system”. Many accountants need to be taught these tax strategies as well. The IRS is not out to get you. They offer tax codes that you can take advantage of if you have the right knowledge.

So where can you find these tax strategies? They are listed in the IRS tax code booklet. Top tax gurus can point you in the right direction. The key is to acknowledge that these tax codes exist and experience significant tax savings.

“The Power of Text Links”

Links drive direct traffic to your website. Links directly increase your website’s rankings. Link building is the art of attracting links that you want. Anybody can engage in link building. Links come from anywhere that you want them to come from.
Links can come from…
• Blog posts
• Press releases
• Text links
• Links from websites related to your website

Tip: Your inbound link profile is extremely important. You need to understand what your link profile should look like. You need to build a “natural” inbound link profile. It used to be about the quantity of links. However, the search engines have recently added filters that discount unnatural links.

A natural profile link includes your domain name and a variety of links that directly relate to your website. These links vary in nature. For example, don’t have the same link over and over. Have synonyms of the link instead. This is more natural and shows that you didn’t just go for quantity.

Tip: Permanent links equal equity. Equity is built based upon links that you have over time. So websites that have had links for several years have more power than newer links from newer websites. The key is to not ever stop obtaining inbound links.

Tip: Links that are in the text copy carry more weight than links that are simply on the page.

Tip: Obtain theme related links. Obtain links from websites that relate to yours.

Tip: Build links that you can control. Otherwise, you might incur an over optimization penalty.

Tip: Set up your own Blog. Put the Blog under your domain name. Write interesting posts so people will link to your Blog. Comment on other Blogs. These will build deep links. Deep links point to other pages on your website besides your homepage.

Tip: It’s more important to have a higher percentage of deep links.

“How to Book a Radio Interview”

If you want to be booked on a radio show then you have to provide entertaining, informative content. Think you don’t have the right content for a radio show? Think again.

If you can answer “yes” to any of these then you can be a guest on a radio show.
Can you save people time or money?
Can you make people rich?
Can you tell people an amazing story?
Can you make people laugh?
Can you teach people something new?
Can you get people arguing?
Can you teach people tips and tricks?

Essentially, you are trading good content for a plug for your products or services.

So you have to sell the radio station on your show and in exchange they will give you a plug.

What about newspaper and other print?
Radio is better because you get a lot of time to talk on the radio. You get 5-15 minutes on an average morning show. A talk show usually gives you 30-60 minutes to talk. While a television interview gives you significantly less air time, usually only 3 minutes at best!

Advantages of doing a radio show…
On a radio show you don’t have to travel. You don’t have to get dressed up. 95% of radio interviews are done by telephone. You can do a radio interview from anywhere, anyplace, anytime. You could be in a different country! You can reach the masses while sitting in the comfort of your own home.

More powerful advantages of doing a radio show…
• It is live so you get audience interaction. You can find out what the audience wants directly from them.
• You get to give out your contact information.
• You get to plug your product and services.
• 96% of the US population to the radio every week. This makes radio the most powerful media.

So how do I book radio interviews?
Here are 4 ways to book radio interviews:
#1: Hire a PR firm. Make sure you find a PR firm that gets you on big radio stations and not little radio stations. You should expect to pay $5,000 – $10,000 per month on a retainer to a PR firm.

#2: Advertise in publishing and services that lists guest. RTIR is the biggest and best. Start out by putting an ad in RTIR. They write the ad for you. They write your show pitch for you. The stations call you. The majority of stations that call you in the beginning will be small stations which are fine because you need practice.

#3: Send out a mass mailing or emailing to producers. This is a usually a complete waste of time and money. The only response you’ll get is from small radio stations in the middle of nowhere. You really have to make a phone call instead.

#4: Radio is an auditory medium. It is all about how you sound. Radio station hosts and producers want to know what you are going to tell their audience. They also want to know what you sound like. Do you stutter? Do you curse? They can’t hear what you sound like from an email, mailing, or fax. Therefore, calling the radio station hosts is by far the most effective way to acquire radio show appearances.

“How to pick the right radio shows to promote your product.”

Have you written a book and are searching for ways to promote it? Have you thought about the power of being a guest on radio shows? You can make huge amounts of money by promoting your book through radio shows.

There are almost 11,000 radio stations in America. This gives you a huge market in which to promote your book. However, most are too small and don’t reach very many people. You need to target the big stations.

How do you find information about these radio shows? You need to sign up with the Radio Television Interview Report (RTIR). You run an advertisement in this report which allows radio show hosts to find you and book you on their shows. It is mailed to radio hosts and producers.

You should target the big radio shows, but how do you determine whether or not a radio show is “big”? Most radio stations give two pieces of information: Station Market Ranking and Wattage. These numbers can be misleading if you don’t know how to interpret them.

Market Ranking is simply the size of the city they broadcast in. NYC has the biggest market ranking. This includes every radio station (big or small) that transmits in NYC. So the market ranking doesn’t tell you enough information.

Wattage denotes how big the radio signal is and how far it reaches. A high wattage doesn’t always mean that it has a large audience. The FCC doesn’t give much wattage to stations in big cities because they will bleed over into other stations in nearby stations. Therefore, “big” stations may actually have low wattage. Whereas a radio station in the cornfields may have high wattage, but really be a “small” radio station.

In essence, the station wattage is usually inversely proportional to the number of listeners they have.

So how do you find the real number of listeners for a radio station? There is a company called Arbitron. Arbiton tracks the numbers and rates radio stations. They sell the ratings information for large sums of money.

What can you offer a radio station host? How can you get them to book you on their show? Radio people are in the business of keeping and getting more listeners. The way they do that is to provide great content. They are always looking for content and guests. The radio stations as a whole need about 10,000 guests to fill up their airways. Therefore, they need you.

You can sell your book, website, EBooks, CDs, DVDs, speeches, teleseminars, etc. You can promote anything you want. You can build your list through radio shows. You can increase the size of your list over night. You build your list by pushing people to your website.

Add radio station promotion as a powerful tool to your publicity campaign. You would be surprised at how much extra income you can earn by being a guest on a radio show.

“SEO rules have changed. Do you know the new rules?”

Did you know that traffic generation from a SEO operation doesn’t work anymore because Google has changed? The changes just happened in the last few months on Google. In order to make the most money you need to understand these changes.

Why should I make SEO priority? In one month 6.7 billion searches were done on search engines. Every day motivated buyers use search engines to find and buy products online. Over 200 million searches per day are made through Google. That is an immense amount of traffic.

If you can learn how to rank high on the search engines then you will increase quality traffic to your website. Superior rankings equal quality targeted traffic. If you don’t get this traffic then your competitors will scoop it up.

How much money are you losing if you don’t have a high Google search engine ranking? How much of this money has your competitor snatched?

How can you flood your website with high quality, responsive traffic for free? The answer is search engine optimization. The purpose of SEO is to improve your ranking in the search engine results. A superior ranking in the major search engines is the best way to bring quality visitors to your website.

Google is the top search engine. You can also use Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

Two types of SEO:
1.) On page optimization.
This is SEO that you do right on your website. You modify code directly on your site. This is what you say about your website (text, copy, links, keyword density in copy and headline, metatags, etc.) On page optimization used to be the primary place to work to obtain superior rankings in the search engine listings.

The page title is the number one on page factor that you need to focus on.
Page title tips:
• Limit the length of your page title of 65 characters or less.
• Incorporate keyword phrases into your page title.
• Grab the searchers attention.
• Each page should have a unique page title.
• Repeat your title tag in your H1 tags.
• Your title is the link that is shown in the search results of the search engine such as Google.
• Focus on click through rates and conversion rates.

However, there are problems with on page optimization. If you want to rank for something people tend to exaggerate or lie to get traffic. This caused the results in the search engine to differ from the actual websites. Google knew this was a problem. Therefore, Google decided to focus on off page optimization.

2.) Off page optimization.
This has to do with what others say about your website. Google has determined that what others say about your website is more credible that what you say. These other people act as a credible referral.

Links are critical and Google measure your links. This gives Google a way to measure what your site is about. Incoming links count as a vote to determine the relevancy and popularity of your site. An incoming link is a link from another site to your site.

Examples of links include:
• Blog post links
• Press release links
• Social network links
• Text links

“The 2 Types of Traffic Sources for Your Internet Website”

What is the difference between traffic and “targeted” traffic?
You can pay money to get general traffic. However, if these people don’t want your product then you won’t make money. Targeted traffic will be interested in your product and will buy.

Internet Traffic Myth: “If you build it they will come.”
Just building a website does not bring in customers. It really just means you have a spot on the Internet highway and nothing more unless you create a traffic plan.

For example, let’s say you spent all your money on a website. Once it’s completed you think that you can sit back and rake in the money. This is a fallacy. Internet visitors won’t simply stumble upon your website.

You have to promote your website in order to get in front of your prospects.

Traffic Sources: Two Types – FREE and PAID

FREE Traffic:
• Traffic from joint ventures. Joint ventures are the easiest way to make money online. If you can connect with someone else that has what you don’t have then you can make money together. Let’s say you have a product and another person has a list that would be interested in that product.

One problem is that you don’t have a list. How do you obtain joint ventures then? You need to network with people that you meet at seminars and conferences. If you are starting out then you have to work with people near your level.

• Traffic from emailing your own list. You should have a squeeze on your website that captures personal information. If you promote to your own list then you will have a higher conversion rate. Why? Because when you promote to people on your own list you are promoting to people that know you. You have established a relationship with these people. Hence, promote by sending emails to your list over and over.

For example, send two emails to your list every day. Make sure to send quality content to your list.

• You need traffic from an affiliate network. You build leverage when you set up an affiliate network. An affiliate network allows you to have other people sign up and promote your product for you. These affiliates will earn a commission.

• Traffic from common and related Blogs. This can be a huge source of targeted traffic. Find Blogs that are related to your market. Go to the Blog and post an intelligent comment on the Blog. Make sure to put your name and website address link on the Blog post. This link pushes people to your squeeze page. This is a great way to obtain a lot of subscribers to your list.

• Viral marketing referrals. “Refer a Friend”.

• Traffic from search engine optimization. SEO

PAID traffic:
• Pay ezines to include your offer in their email list. This is a great way to get traffic. Make sure to send traffic to your squeeze page.
• Traffic from direct mail. Direct mail is effective if it is done right. It can be very expensive if you don’t test small and know what you are doing.
• SRDS.com – SRDS is one of the largest suppliers of lists. You can buy a list of people that have bought a certain product. You can send direct mail to this list. You are targeting people that are already buyers in your market. Make sure that you know what you are doing and start small otherwise you will lose money.
• Traffic from teleseminars and voice broadcasting.
• Traffic from CPA networks. These are “Cost per Action” networks. You pay for a lead.
• Pay per click advertising – PPC. You pay money each time your advertisement is clicked on. Advertisements are shown based on the keyword theme searched. Advertisers bid on the amount of money they are willing to pay. 20% is click fraud. This is unfortunate and pay per click fraud is getting worse. Be careful of pay per click.

“The 3 Requirements to Making Money Online”

By now you probably know that you can use the Internet to completely change your life. You can go from being broke to being a millionaire. If you are armed with the right tools and take action then you can earn piles of cash on the Internet.

Advertising is expensive. The cost of advertising on the Internet increases each month. Therefore, you need to know how to get free advertising.

The three requirements to making money online include:
#1: OFFER – You have to have something to sell. If you don’t then how are you going to make money? Information products are great to sell online because they have very high profit margins. You can write the information product once and then sell it over and over. With physical products you don’t have this freedom.

Make something that solves and existing problem. People buy things they want, but not necessarily need. For example, look for games that are very popular right now. Figure out an instruction book that helps people play and beat these games. Then sell this information product for a great profit.

#2: TRAFFIC – You have to have a lot of traffic to make money online. You have to find people that are looking for your offer.

#3: ABILITY TO CONVERT TRAFFIC INTO CASH – This is a huge skill. You can become wealthy if you know how to obtain traffic and convert that traffic into cash.

You must get your prospects attention. How are you going to make any money if you don’t get their attention? The main way to do this is to be in the spots where they are already looking. If you advertise in a place that your potential audience doesn’t visit then you won’t make any money.

The key formula is…
Traffic + Conversions = Sales

If you know and act on this formula then you will make money online.

You need targeted traffic and the ability to convert that traffic.
