I get people asking me all the time about whether or not Google penalizes someone who will post the same articles countless times all over the web. There seems to be a lot of confusion out there regarding this issue because someone has been spreading the rumor that submitting the same articles to 10,15,100 directories will hurt you. Everybody always says the same thing.

So, will Google penalize for duplicate content? No. Whatever you may have heard to the contrary, it is simply not true. However, for arguments sake, let’s take Google out of the picture and get the real picture of articles. After all, there’s more to the world than just Google and I want everybody to understand that.

Let me explain to you how it all works. So, you take your one article and you think, what’s the power of your article being out there? Well, the power of your article being out there is not just being on Google. The power of it is having your article out there so you can build your backlinks. In every article that you send out there, there should always be a link in your bio that goes back to your page. Then, from that point when people click on your page you can get them to do whatever action you want them to take. That’s the power of an article.

Let me take you one step further. Let’s just say you don’t submit it to the 1,000 directories out there. So, that means you have one article sitting on your computer and it won’t be in 1,000 locations. Now if you submit that one article after you have passed all the filters to 1,000 locations or directories, that means that you have 1,000 opportunities for people to click the link that leads back to your site. Plus, not only that, but people that read those directories sometimes put them on other directories. So now you’re going to be passed around the internet several times over. Now, what does that have to do with Google? Absolutely nothing!

Worrying about duplicate content shouldn’t stop you from getting your articles out there. Let’s just say that Google changes the duplicate content rule. Guess what? Now you have thousands and thousands of articles that are out there, that are all indexed by Google. I would not let that concern bother you at all, and just go out there and make it happen!

It doesn’t matter how many times I tell people how to make money online, some people just never take action. Some people are looking for this magical pill that will instantly create residual income for them when the answer is starring them right in the face. Whether or not they are actually willing to put in the time is another matter all together.

If you have bought thousands of new and old online programs through hyped program launches and never made money with them, here’s the deal.  First of all you’ve got to think about how other marketers, regardless of what niche they are in, make money online. Now, I’m not going to give you the magic pill, but I’ve just got to ask you one quick question? Do you have a list? Have you built a list yet? If the answer is no, go out there and build it. If the answer is yes, start emailing that list and sell them stuff. That is how to make money. There is a direct correlation between how much money you make and how many people you have on your list.

Let’s kind of analyze how other marketer’s have done it by going back through the process of where you spent lots of money and analyze that. If you bought thousands of things through program launches, that means you’re on a bunch of different lists. You got an email. The person that you got the email from had a list and you were on it. How did you get on the list? You opted in somewhere, which means they had a squeeze page. They sent an email out and you clicked on a link, you went to a page, you went to a sales letter. The copy was convincing and you ended up buying the product. Then they sent the product out.

So then, this is a step by step guide of how to make money online. It first takes a list. Now, how did you get to them? Did you sign up? What did you sign up through? You too have got to start building your list. Think about the methods other marketer’s used to get you to buy and then follow that. It is a proven system and it works time and time again. So, don’t try to reinvent something that you know already works and just go out there and do it. Look at the emails they sent you and their sales letters as guides. I’m certain the copywriting is convincing yet builds trust. You too will have to use the same methods to build your list. Follow those who’ve sold to you and I’m certain you’ll begin selling products too. Good luck!

In the past I always recommended Basement Ventures to do all your recordings, but while I still use them, I highly recommend that you also use a backup system if you can afford it. Why I recommend this is because sometimes you may run into the problem of something not getting recorded and then having to contact customer support — which may or may not be very efficient. Sometimes the support is not as available or not as good as you’d like. I’ve been in this situation a few times and I know of this happening to other people as well. It definitely isn’t any fun.

Now if you have little experience in the recording area and don’t really know where to start like I was a few years ago, I’ll tell you exactly where I get my stuff. I just go to a friend’s site called InternetAudioGuy.com. Seriously, I’ve bought pretty much everything on there, that is, unless he’s added some new stuff that I haven’t seen. But any time Mike comes up with something new, I go there and buy it.

Mike doesn’t give me any commissions or discounts for referring anyone to him (nor do I ask him to), in case you were wondering. The real reason I buy from him, even though  I could probably go to another place and get the same exact thing, maybe for a couple of bucks cheaper is because I’m not just buying the product, I’m buying the support and the help from him as well. If you are looking to monetize your marketing efforts whether you are an affiliate or have your how online information products, there are some useful tips you can use in order to see some – almost effortless sales.

First, if you’re promoting a product, write articles. Articles are a great way at spreading the word about your offer. You can submit to article sites like goarticles.com or a very popular well-received site ezinearticles.com. Both of these sites (and many other article distribution sites) get a ton of traffic. If you submit your article there you will get good quality traffic for free. It’s really worth it.

Another great tip is doing YouTube videos. Simply make a video promoting yours or an affiliateproduct and sit back and watch the checks start rolling in. This is an inexpensive way to produce big results.

Make sure your sales page is easy to read for the visitor. If you have your visitor scrolling and scrolling through your lengthy sales page before they see a “click to buy” link that can lead your visitor away from your website. What happens if they want to buy earlier on while reading your page?

Ensure that you have order buttons throughout the sales page – at the beginning, the middle and the end. Every time your visitor scrolls, there should be an order link. You want to have 12 to 15 order links on your page, because I found that increases your conversions. Of course this depends on how lengthy your sales page is.

Countdowns on sales pages produce urgency. This makes people see that the product is already flying off the shelves. If they don’t purchase now it may be gone. That’s a really good strategy. You may also want to add a date stamp that changes daily. This in conjunction with the countdown works like magic!

Using slashes in price also promotes a sense of urgency. Here’s a great example. If you are offering a bonus CD on your sales page you can say:  “grab this bonus right now for just…” – and then have $197 slashed out – “for now only $97 until we run out of stock.” You could use something like that and have your page updated perhaps showing how many are left. Say something like “we only have 134 left remaining…” and then underneath show that the actual number of copies remaining is much likely less. That actually helps out a lot better when selling your product.

Then at the end of your sales page write;“Yes, rush me a copy of this” which works in conjunction with your urgency statement you made earlier on in the sales page.

Lastly try adding video to your sales page for added credibility. Adding video has been proven to increase conversions. Use these tips for increased conversions and results.
