It seems like Twitter is all the rage lately, but it still has a lot of people asking, “Can I really make money with Twitter?”  Those of us at Matt Bacak’s Bleeding Edge Team know that the answer is a resounding “Yes!”.  How?

Gain Twitter followers by following others.

The first and perhaps easiest way to make money with Twitter is by sending keyword-focused traffic directly to your site.  It’s simple math–the more people who follow you, the more people who’ll click through to your site.

Keep in mind that the best way to get targeted followers is to go to search.twitter.com, look up people who are tweeting about your keywords, and follow those people.  After a few days, unfollow the ones that don’t follow you back.

You can use Twitter to drive ultra-targeted traffic to your site.

Send a direct message to thank the people who follow you back.  Then make sure you send out interesting, relevant Tweets.

These tweets can be news items or links to your blog (use the link shortener bit.ly for a link short enough to allow you to type the blog title into your tweet).  Do the same for new pages you add to your website, or new articles you publish at directories.

Can you can tweet affiliate links directly to your Twitter followers.

It’s not entirely unheard of to directly tweet affiliate links on your account.  You just want to be sure that it is a product you believe in 100%.  If you tweet links to junk products, you’ll quickly lose both readers and credibility.
