Besides pay per click and articles, yes there are other things you can do outside of pay per click and articles to generate more traffic to your website. One of the big things that I’ve been doing a lot of is called solo advertising. What this means is that I’m buying solo ads. There are multiple different places you can go to buy solo ads. Let me explain how it works…

Basically, if you’re in the wealth building niche, a solo ad works like this. You go to a site that has lists in various niches. You pay this site money and then they will mail for you. Once they do, you’re able to gain exposure for your site because their list was specifically targeted to your market. A great place to go for purchasing solo ads if you’re in the wealth building niche is SelfGrowth. Go down to the bottom of their home page and you’ll see a place that says Advertising. Click on there and communicate with them. Tell them you’re interested in their solo ads. Find out how much it is to decide if their price is a good fit for your budget.

What you’re going to find is a place called Targeted Solo Ads. Click on Targeted Solo Ads. When you click on the Targeted Solo Ads link, what you want to do is this. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see various places you can advertise in depending on your niche. So, for internet marketing, for example, there is a thing called Logan. Every time you go here, it’s going to be a different group. But at the time I’m looking at the page in the internet marketing niche, right now I can mail to 182,000 people for $419. Here’s another one – I can mail to 32,000 people for $73. And another I can mail to 17,000 people for $39. Then another option where I can mail to 10,000 for $23… and then another one that allows me to mail to 5,000 people for $13.53. You’re going to find that there are multiple lists that you can market to and advertise to.

Basically, ezines-r-us.com gives you the option of paying them to send out an email promotion that you’ve written. This concept works really well. You just pay them and they mail out for you. You can do whatever it is you want with it after that. But that’s basically how solo advertising works. It’s a great way to get the word out about your product or promotion in a fairly short amount of time. It’s especially good if you’re still building your website.

I’ve got solo ads running all the time for me simply because it’s better than doing joint ventures. It’s so much simpler. Basically, I pay them, they guarantee a mailout for me, instead of me just asking them and hoping that they send out an email for me. It works really well.

Solo advertising is another great strategy that I’m using in conjunction with articles, pay per click, and and joint ventures. Those are pretty much my top four locations to getting high quality traffic. These are also four other options you too can use to generate more traffic for your website.
