How to Get Tons of Traffic

Website traffic has always been the moving force in determining whether a website is successful or not. The only way to make money is to have visitors i.e., traffic! So, what is the latest thing I’ve found that helps get my products out faster and drive more traffic?”

Well, the latest thing that I’ve found that helps me get my products out faster and drive more traffic besides sending an email and doing joint ventures is advertising. I’ve been saying that forever. Basically I drive all my traffic to my squeeze page. That gets me more subscribers. More subscribers means I’ve got more people on my list, which means I make more money, which means I’m going to be able to sell more of my products. But I do this all through spending a small chunk of change on advertising. What I’m doing now is CPV or cost per view aka cost per visitor advertising.

CPV is a great strategy that I’ve been doing a lot more now. CPV is kind of like the ultimate traffic secret. Let me give you an idea of how I’ve been I started using CPV. In the beginning I used it full force.  I mean, now I get about 150 to 200,000 visitors to my website and it’s through CPV traffic. I probably maybe even get 150,000 visitors through my site currently. CPV can really improve the overall progression of your site if you use it to its full potential.

Another strategy I use is CPA aka cost per action. I’m just getting started in doing this but I think it is going to be a huge traffic generator for me. Let’s just look at my CPV traffic. The amount of visitors I had coming to my website through this first month on my first month campaign had 43,298 visitors. I ended up having 1,881 opt-ins. And if you’ve ever done pay per click or anything like that, I was getting two cents cost per visitor which is good. That’s how much it cost me to get a visitor to my website. My conversion rate isn’t as high using that as it is with Google AdWords. Actually,  I’m getting about a 4.3, 4.4%. But my cost per action is 53 cents per lead. So me paying 53 cents per lead, that’s very good for an email lead or a good opt-in. So, I spent about $1,005.64 to get 43,000 visitors to my website, and that’s not too bad. And almost 2,000 opt-ins! That’s amazing! As you can see CPV and CPA are great ways to leverage your work efforts and your dollars!

Article 10: The Best Formats for Your Digital Products

If you’re just about to get ready to launch a product both as hard copy manual DVDs and CDs and also have it available digitally, you need to know the best formatting for both your physical and digital products.

You’ll need to ensure that the manual that accompanies your product is in PDF format. Absolutely put it into PDF. Never put it in HTML format or doc format. The perceived value of the HTML or doc isn’t going to be very high. The perceived value of the PDF is going to be high, so I’d highly recommend  doing that.

The DVDs, which are like PowerPoints and audio, so you’ll want to produce it in an MP3 format. You don’t want to use WAV or anything else because you’ll need you file to be in a more compressed version of audio. You definitely don’t want to use WAV formatting as this is going to cause the file to be too big for your website visitors to download to their computers. So when you’re doing your MP3s there are a couple of things to think about. Firstly, when you’re creating your products, you want your CDs and your DVDs, when you’re saving the files, the audio files, you want those saved in CD quality format.

Another very important point you need to consider when you’re putting them on the internet is you’ll need to bring it down to one of the lowest qualities you can possibly get where it still sounds fairly clear and is of good quality sound.  Just keep on lowering the quality until you still sound okay and people can hear it. If you fail to do this then people are going to get pissed if they can’t download it fast enough. Remember, you need to keep your website visitors happy so that they continue to come back and purchase from you.

You must also realise that there’s still people out there that have dial-up, so you want to make sure that you talk to them and that they’re able to download it. Build a strong relationship with your audience by providing good quality communications and products. This will allow you to eventually build trust that will in turn lead to a long-term relationship. You’d be amazed at how much a loyal customer can build a business. Loyalty is priceless!
