Today was my son’s 3rd birthday and when we asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday all he kept on saying was he wanted to go to the farm and ride 4-wheelers. (he actually said FAST 4 wheeler but it’s in the shop and not sure if my wife would let him ride on it with me…)

That’s why today we went out to the land, I call “God’s Country” to do exactly what he wanted to do. While we drove over there, I took him in a “hobby shop” and let him pick out a rocket for his birthday present from me because while we were at the hospital on Thursday he asked me if one day I could take him on a rocket ship.

Boy, did his eye’s light up when I got him that for his birthday…

Unfortunately, we only got to see it lift off twice because it got stuck in a tall pine tree. I tried my best to get it out but it was two high up – the only thing that came even close to getting it out of the tree was shooting my hand gun for a few rounds at the limb it was stuck on. Stephanie (my wife) said that this should be a “you know how I know your a redneck joke” but who cares cause Brain enjoyed watching me do that and totally forgot about the rocket.
