What Do I Do With My Content?

If you have tons of content and are confused about where to put it, for instance, in a blog or a newsletter, or free emails, videos, etc, what I would really suggest is that you take your current content  that you have never turned into articles and turn it into articles immediately. I would submit them to at least one place, EzineArticles.com. Then what you do is you take that content and submit it to your blog. Don’t do this in reverse order because EzineArticles will not accept it. Then after you do that, if you want to take it to a whole different level and you have the budget, take that content and submit it to ArticleMarketer.com. Article Marketer will send each article out to something like 1,500 different locations all over the place. That’s what I would suggest you doing.

One other thing I would recommend is that you get into a routine of sending articles out on a regular basis. Each article only needs to be around 500 words, no more than 700 words, no less than 300, but go for 500 words. Take these articles, and make sure you drive the traffic back to your opt-in page so that you can capture all of those peoples names and email addresses who visit your site. You want to get to the point where you can send out at least one article a day. If you can submit one article per day, you’re going to be able to do some amazing stuff and the search engines will love you for it. So, that should really be your goal. Try to get a minimum of  20 articles submitted. Fifty or one hundred is even better. Do one every day, or every business day, Monday through Friday. Do not submit them all at once because the whole purpose is you want to keep pinging the search engines to show them that there is lots of activity coming from your domain. This should lead to better rankings on your keywords.

After you do all of that and get yourself in the habit of producing content on a regular basis, you can turn them into other things such as videos. However, stick to the basics first, then move on to other marketing methods.

Article marketing for me, is like my third best traffic strategy. When I say traffic, I don’t necessarily mean I’m getting tons of traffic for it, but I’m getting quality traffic. People are clicking on the links from those articles and going straight to my squeeze pages and opting in. The people that are opting-in from those articles are buying, and that’s great. However, it is even better because I’m building a solid list of future prospects.

If you want to find good converting traffic I highly recommend submitting articles as part of your marketing strategy. Use the current content you have now to gain a loyal following that will stay with you for years to come.
