Article marketing is often the easiest way for a ‘newbie’ to get started making money online with affiliate products.  By writing two or three articles a day and submitting them to top directories, you can start building a significant amount of traffic to your sales page, site or blog – WHEN you do it the right way!  If you read on forums often, Ezine Articles is definitely tops.  But, is it the only article directory to which you should submit?  No way!  Articlesbase and GoArticles are two other top-ranking directories to which you should be sending your articles.

Why should you submit your articles to these other directories?  Not only will you get an increased amount of targeted traffic, the rules are slightly more relaxed at GoArticles and Articlesbase, which means that you can submit articles that may not be approved by Ezine.  Why would Ezine not accept an article?  They have very strict guidelines, and sometimes decline articles that they perceive to look too much like an advertisement.  Ezine Articles change their guidelines quite often, and submitting to other directories helps you get exposure without putting all of your eggs in one basket!

Also, one BIG thing you should do:  Bookmark your articles!  There are lots of places you can do this, but some of the best are StumbleUpon and Digg.  By doing this, you will see that your articles get indexed more quickly, which means you will start seeing traffic almost immediately.  There are lots of guru’s who use article marketing as their number one strategy for building their list and making sales, and it is a method that anyone can use.  If you want to start out with something easy when you begin affiliate marketing, try articles.  You will be pleasantly surprised at the results!
