Strategy For Launching a Product and Creating Buzz

One very effective strategy you can use to launch your new product is to first do one massive launch for a tele-seminar. If you get enough word out and your product is in demand, you should have no problems getting enough people to attend your seminar and therefore making a lot of money in a very short space of time.

If you are working with JV partners, you can also choose to do several individual tele-seminars to launch your product. The advantage of doing it this way is that your partner can personally introduce you to their list and you can give them more personalized attention. This can build more trust, credibility and ultimately more sales. If you’re doing one big massive launch, yes, you’re going to make a lot of money at once, but you and your partners are not going to be able to give that personal touch. So you’ve got to make the decision. Both ways are going to work and make you a lot of money.

As for me personally, I prefer doing a major launch first to see which partners give me the best results. Then I will go back to those people individually and arrange a special encore presentation specifically for their list. The way they can frame it to their people is by saying, “Hey, listen, we just did this call and we had an amazing response. So I personally contacted Matt and I asked him if he can do a special private tele-seminar specifically for us, and he said yes! So go here right now and sign up before it’s too late because the last one got filled up really quickly and this one will, too.” I find this type of approach works really well too.

What are some attention-getting – buzz worthy strategies to get everyone excited about the tele-seminar? Well, one thing you’ve got to do is you’ve got to limit it. If you’re going to do a tele-seminar, I guarantee you’re probably only going to be able to secure a set number of lines. So, using scarcity and urgency is really going to help you out to get people’s attention really quickly. I know you’ll want to help everybody, but you’re not going to be able to get every single person on that call, and that’s one thing to let them know from the start.

Another ideal way to create buzz is by getting people to know you. Give away some tips and have people mail out a video for you. Then they will get to know you, like or love you and you can get them to sign up to see more videos. Communicate with those people and let them know what’s going on. You’ve got to do multiple hits to these people and videos are actually the best way to do it.

This is a great strategy because in reality, you’re going to be really lucky if you’re able to get your partners to mail for you more than once. If they do, consider yourself exceptionably blessed. Obviously, it would be ideal to have them mail for you as many times as possible, but you’ve got to realize that your JV partners are basically lazy.

So, you need to make it brain-dead simple for each and every one of them. You’ve got to lay things out so that all they’ve got to do is click the send button. You are going to want to write all the emails and put up all the pages for your partners so that it’s a simple click and send promotion. Do everything so they won’t have to lift a finger. You don’t want them to really do anything except for pushing the send button. If you can make it that brain-dead, drop-dead easy for them, they will be more likely to mail out to their list for you again in the future.

However, that’s just one aspect because you’ve still got to make sure that your stuff converts and people buy it. If you are successful doing that, you’re going to get more people to join you and create more buzz because there’s money to be made. Once that happens affiliates all over the world are going to be saying good things about you because they want to make a commission off of your product. However, if you cannot get your product to make money for people, then obviously nobody’s going to want to promote it. So you’ve got to work on making sure that the sales process as well as everything else is rock solid so that your partners are confident that you can deliver on the goods that you’re offering.
