Increase Your Page Rank With Bookmarks!

Although getting traffic may be daunting to some, if you use simple time tested tips (which there are many), you can easily start seeing increased traffic to your website. This increased traffic will play a major role in how your website ranks on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. So, what’s one very good way to gain more traffic to your website? Ever consider bookmarking? Bookmarks are a simple way to have increased followers to your site.

How do you do it? Well, simply ask your visitors to bookmark your website. Even if you already have the bookmark buttons on your site, many people ignore them because they get caught up looking at everything else on your website. If you spell it out for them by saying something like “hey, click the button below to add us to your bookmarks…”, there is a better chance that they’ll do it. Explain the advantage of doing it and I’m sure you’ll start to see increased traffic and better rankings. By asking your visitors to bookmark and save your website in their favorites, it gives you more leverage to work more with less effort simply because you now have a team working for you with just a simple request.

Remember, good content always produces the best results. If you’re providing that for your visitors, there’s more of a chance that they’ll bookmark your site. This alone could lead to tons of links to your site which means greater rankings for you.

Want another quick tip to improve your rankings? How about commenting on posts made about your website! You can also have somebody talk about the page that’s pointing to your page. Find a site that helps automate the process for you. But you can also use Google Alerts as well. So, anytime a Google Alert pops up in my email, I’ll then take the link that comes up in the alert and then I go and bookmark it. So, that helps my site gain more leverage in the search engines.
