How to Make Your Thank You Page Sell

Having an opt-in page that your audience lands on that allows them to enter their name and email address to gain access to a special report, ebook or special content is a great way to not only gain a targeted list, but it can also make you sales. You may be wondering how you can make sales with a free report, ebook or document. Well, consider giving your visitor an offer on your thank you page once they sign up for your free report or e-book offer.

Having your visitor land automatically on an offer once they give you their name and email address is one of the quickest and easiest ways to make a sale. So, let’s say that your website’s main opt-in page is website.com. Well, once your visitor signs up using their name and email address they’ll land on a thank you page. You’ll thank them for signing up and then give them a link to a related product that they can instantly purchase. But if you don’t have your own product to offer, that’s not a problem.

However, an even better idea then leading them directly to your thank you page after they sign up, instead of them going to the websites thank you page, considers just leading them straight to the sales letter page to buy your affiliate related product. This increases your chances even more of getting the sale. But remember that every single thank you page, confirmation page, or any other page, is a valuable piece of real estate that you can turn into real money.

Another great strategy you may want to also consider is this two-step process. What you can do is have a little video that says, one, and “Thank you very much for signing up for xyz report. I compliment you for subscribing. There are two things I need you to do right now. One, be sure you add our email address to your white list so that it ensures you never have our email marked as spam in your email inbox. This guarantees that you always receive our emails that we send to you.” And then have a step number two, where you can say something like “I have a little bit of homework for you. What I’d like you to do is go to this page see the link below? Click on the link and go to that page and find out more about xyz.” This strategy allows you to drive your visitor through the process. Once they click the link, they’ll go directly to the sales page for that particular affiliate product.

If you implement these strategies, you should see some good results. But you need to remember that in order to increase your likelihood to make more money; you’ve got to get more traffic.
