How to Get Fresh Content and What to Do With It

Owning your own website can entail a lot of work. Not only do you have to worry about the technical aspects of your website, but you also have to think about what content should be added to your website. Your visitors want useful information that will help them so it’s important to provide content that is not only useful but you’ll want to provide content that is in demand. One of the best ways to find topics for your website is to hold monthly or weekly teleseminars. If you hold teleseminars where your attendees can ask you questions, you can use these questions as content for your website.

I’m not a very good writer, so I outsource my article writing. Basically this is what I do. Every week I get on a call and I have people ask me questions. These same questions are turned into relevant, fresh content. So, once the questions are asked, I answer those questions. Then what happen are those questions and those answers get transcribed and made into a document. And then that transcribed document gets reformulated and turned into articles.

In order to make the most out of your content and articles, make sure that you write about one to two articles a day. What we do is we outsource ghostwriters to write a bunch of articles, and then what I do is I place those articles in a file. Once we have those articles contained there, I take one to two per day and submit them to article directory websites.

So, if I’ve had a ton of articles written – say like 30 articles, I’ll take three or four and submit them to article directory websites each day. However, if at any given time my folder has only 12 articles, I’m only going to submit one per day just to ensure I have enough articles ready for a later date. This reduction helps if my writer is late on some articles or if there is not as much juicy content available. It may seem like writing this many articles is a lot, but if you set up a system, and focus on getting them done, it really isn’t that much.
