Your blog traffic is very useful if you need to harness some value out of your website. Learning how to increase traffic is therefore a precious lesson that every internet marketer really needs.

Apart from the boring article writing and paying for targeted traffic, one needs to adopt several traffic generation techniques. Combination of techniques tremendously increases leads, conversions and sales. Every blog owner needs these, but, do you know which ones will work for you?

2. Video Marketing: Ever since Google bought YouTube, videos get a lot of love from Google and thus a great source of targeted website traffic.
3. Podcasts: Podcasts provide a platform for subscription. Creating quality podcasts on targeted topics will therefore be a great way of increasing your blog traffic.
4. Torrent Marketing: This is a great technique for software marketers but anyone can adapt it.  If you have a free demo to be downloaded, this is the best for you.
5. Social Sharing: The internet has gone social. Social networks accounts for 75% of all the internet users. Creating social friendly content will therefore serve greatly in increasing targeted website traffic.
6. Press Releases: They create great publicity about a new product or service, you should not ignore it.
7. Blog Carnivals: They create good relationships between marketers. Learning how create blog carnivals is a way of learning how to tap into new traffic.

16. YouTube Sponsored Ads: This is new in the market, am still trying it out. You pay for ads on videos that your targeted website traffic may watch.
17. Retargeting: This works by providing cookies to your blog traffic. If they do not buy you products and leave your site, the data is saved and your ad will be shown on other sites that they visit. This is a tremendous way of increasing your targeted website traffic.
