Ebook Sales Letter Tips That Help Create Sales

If you have an ebook and need to create a sales page for it, there are some things you need to keep in mind. You need to make your sales page as easy for your prospect to read as possible. But not only that, you need to fill your sales page with tactics to help you grab your prospects attention and make the sale. So, what tactics should you be using? Well for one, consider using the WSGAT philosophy. The acronym WSGAT stands for “what’s so good about that”? As you’re writing your sales page, whenever you make a point ask this simple question because this simple answer, contains your benefit! For example, if you state to your prospects in your sales page that “blog promotion is important”, ask yourself this question, “What’s so good about blog promotion”? Once you have the answer, guess what? That’s your benefit! Another example… “Plugins get you more traffic!” And again you ask yourself again, “so what’s so good about that”? Your answer right there, is your benefit!
The key things that people care about are not the features of your product. They care only about the benefits. So, you could list the features like you did, but also you want to state the benefits. You could say something along the lines of, “Here are some of the benefits of those features.” People only care about the benefits. So that’s a big thing for you to think about when it comes to including that in your sales letter.
Now, another tactic is including bullets. Have bullets listing your benefits for added effectiveness. Having about 5-7 benefits listed in a bulleted list format always helps draw your prospects attention to what they’re going to gain by using your product – the benefits. Never go over seven bullets. Eight is simply too much and you lose the effectiveness of this strategy. But, you’ll notice that this one tactic alone can increase your conversion rate.
Another important point is to always include a picture of your book on your sales page. Not only this but also ensure that you have a good amount of white space around your book so that it stands out. But, make sure that on the right-hand side of the book, you list your key product benefits. Make sure that in this bulleted list, that you’re quoting chapters. So, for example, you could say, “On page 36, you’ll discover this amazing technique that will allow you to have your blog…” and “… and on page 3, you’ll find the answer to this simple question…” What this does is it makes your prospect want to read your book because they know very specifically, that they can find the answers to these questions on these pages. This one tactic alone helps promote trust and urgency. This one strategy will help improve your conversion rate.
