If you’ve written an eBook congratulations! It’s no easy feat but you can rest assured that if you market your book well you can make a nice income from it. However, the first thing you need to do when launching your eBook on Amazon is securing an ISBN number. The reason you need an ISBN number is because you really can’t list anything on Amazon unless you have one. Where do you get it? You can go to ISBN.org, where you buy a lot of ten. Once you have that ISBN number, you want to sign up for Amazon Connect and this will allow you to start selling your eBook specifically on Amazon.

One thing I’d strongly suggest using if you are going to go the Amazon route is to try to find every book out there that you have read inside your niche and give feedback on that book. Then you can select books that you talk about and use the book selection. When you select books, use your book and your signature. You could write something like, “This book is absolutely amazing and great. I’d highly recommend it to anybody.” Then put your name and your book underneath it and put a link back to your book. This is one thing that I do and suggest to my students. Sell from the feedback on other people’s books. It’s amazing how viral this one strategy is.

Now with eBay, you’re not going to need an ISBN number. You can simply do a listing. How do you do it? Well, first of all, you’re going to log in and create an eBay account. Once you have your eBay account set up, what you will need to do is grab your sales letter and everywhere it says “Click here to buy now,” say “Bid on this eBook now”. Leads from eBay are going to be the best leads you’re ever going to get, so we’re not too concerned on what price things sell, especially with digital delivery. You want to set it up to make sure that you do have the digital delivery, because you do not want to be forwarding and sending an email to people with your product. Digital delivery allows the orders to be processed automatically.

Now, what price do you sell it at? It doesn’t matter, actually. I don’t really care what price it sells at on eBay. You can actually get some of my stuff cheaper on eBay, however sometimes you can pay more. For example, we list all my free CDs on eBay and basically, we start off the bidding at a penny. We’ve got people that are paying $27, plus shipping and handling, even though you can get the same free CD elsewhere for just the cost of the shipping. So you never know what’s going to happen. Let people bid on it and you’ll probably sell your eBook for a whole lot more, sometimes you’ll sell it for a lot less, but everything we put on eBay does sell and they are great leads to up sell everything else that we’re doing.

Now that you have launched your product and made some sales, what is the best and quickest way to get your product in front of as many eyes as possible?
Well, Clickbank is always a great way since it is the Internet’s largest digital marketplace. It is also very easy to list with them and they handle everything for you, totally hands free.

You may want to also consider EBay. I’ve been selling a lot on EBay lately. EBay’s been really good for me, and you can put all your stuff on EBay. I’d highly recommend it even if you’ve only got one product now. You’ll be amazed by what happens when you make your product available for sale there. Also, if you’ve launched your product and you’ve made some sales, then the next thing you want to start doing is always be focused on building your list. I mean, that’s very, very important to always focus on expanding your list.

Another thing that’s really important is finding and establishing relationships with joint venture partners. The sooner you start this the more sales you’ll make. Basically, if you’ve already proven you’ve made money with your product and it’s not some pie in the sky thing, people will probably want to do something with you. I’d highly recommend you looking for joint ventures as the quickest and fastest way to sell more products.

Another thing you might want to try is Google AdWords campaigns. By using Adwords – you may make more profit than you’d expected. Although it can be quite costly if you don’t know what you’re doing or if you pick high demand keywords, however, if you are on a tight budget there are ways that you can limit your expenditures.
You can also consider solo advertising. Go to Ezines-R-Us. If this is the right target market for your niche, they have lists that you can pay to send out solo advertisements and solo emails to.

It’s not really a big deal to do any of this stuff, but I would highly recommend you taking action and trying these methods out. But remember, joint ventures are going to be the quickest and fastest way for you to really get a lot of eyes focused on your product.

Here’s the situation. You have heard about flipping websites by buying a lousy website, fixing it up, and selling it to earn a profit. You’ve learned that it’s similar to flipping a property in the real estate industry, but far less work. You know that you have to clean up the copy on the website and have a buyer in mind even before you purchase the website. However, don’t get too excited and buy the first website you come across.

Instead, before you buy a website make sure you…

1. Verify income through merchant statements, etc.

2. Make sure the website is in a good niche, but it just has a lousy website. You can fix the website and earn more.

3. You should be willing to pay 4-6 months of net profits for the website. Figure out the return on investment per month.

4. You can find these websites to buy and sell EBay (http://www.ebay.com). Choose the “Business and Industrial” category. Look for “Businesses for Sale” → “Websites for sale”. Be careful, 90-95% of these websites are garbage because they are just template, clone sites. Never buy a template or clone site as it has no value.

5. When you negotiate the price you may encounter an unrealistic price or on the other hand you’ll have a reasonable price, but need a little negotiation. You should take a negotiation course to help you negotiate the deal. Try Roger Dawson’s negotiation course “Secrets of Power Negotiating” for help.

Tip: Use the seven magic words of power which include: “What’s the lowest price you will take?”

6. Only look at the websites that are offered for over $1,000. Also look for auctions that have ended and had no bids. Call the business owner and ask if you can still buy the business. You can usually get a cheaper price if you do this.

So take these six tips into account before you jump on the bandwagon of flipping websites. You’ll be glad you took the time to evaluate your purchase and earn the most money possible.

Do you like to fix old TVs? Maybe not, but many people do. Think of all the garage sales where people buy items because they want to fix them up or restore them. This same idea can be applied to EBay. You can sell broken and old items on EBay. People will buy them!

If you do sell items that have wear and tear just make sure you let people know that the item is broken or used. You would be amazed at what people will buy. For example, one lady sold 6 half used lipsticks for $53. Don’t look at your old stuff as “junk”, but as “treasures”. When they are “things” no one wants them, but when they are called “items” everybody wants them.

So where should start when looking for items to sell on EBay?
Everything you own, regardless of their condition, has cash value. Everybody has something that they can sell. Look through your attic. Look through your closet. Look in your garage. Every area has items that you no longer need. You can sell these things on EBay.

Some of the items sold on EBay are crazy. One person sold a cane that was supposedly haunted by it previous owner. Guess how much the cane was sold for? $65,000! Another person sold an empty bottle of cologne for $32!

You can also go to garage sales and thrift stores to find products to sell. This can be in addition to selling items that you already have.

How do you start selling on EBay? You need to “list” your item. Listing your item is a simple process.

Note that you only get 55 characters for your listing title. Grammar is irrelevant. However, spelling is critical! If you spell things incorrectly then people can’t find it.

The title you put in your listing has a huge affect on the number of people that view your website. For example, a poor listing title can only bring in 2,000 views while the correct listing title can bring in 12,000 views.

There are more steps to follow that you should learn from an EBay guru. You can also peruse top power sellers on EBay and see how they set up their listings.

Still not convinced that you need EBay for your online business? Think again. One major advantage of EBay is that you can use it to build your client list on any subject in any market on any topic. EBay is a great way to build your database. You can post a link to your business website. This helps you to capture personal information and build your client list.

Step #1: Establish credibility. You must develop good EBay feedback. EBay feedback is composed of a score from people you sell to and people you buy from.

Step #2: Put your systems in place. First you should sign up for PayPal. It is the top method of payment on the Internet. You should also take money orders and checks. Just don’t ship until the check clears.

Step #3: Photos on your EBay listing are extremely important. Three things for photos: Dress appropriately, never use a flash, and use a really small file size. You need a small file size so that it loads quickly. Otherwise, if it takes too long to load then people will click off your website.
