Teleseminars: Communicate with Your Visitors

Holding a teleseminar takes patience, planning and true professionalism. If you are holding a teleseminar always remember to communicate thoroughly with your audience. What I mean by “thoroughly” is don’t only send them email message reminders, but also give them a call. As long as your opt-in form has an area where they can enter their first name, email address and phone number, you’re good to go! By giving your visitors and prospects a call you are personalizing your contact with them. You’re making them feel special and they are respecting you not only as an authority but also as a very professional and trustworthy individual that in the end they’ll feel comfortable giving you their credit card information to “make the sale”!

So, if you’ve read any of my past articles on teleseminars, you know I strongly recommend voice mail blasts. That’s right. Calling your prospect and confirming the teleseminar details is a sure way to increase your call-in numbers. What you do with voice blasts is you’ll call your opt-in visitor an hour in advance, then a half an hour before the call and then send them a quick email fifteen minutes before the call giving them the call-in details. You will reconfirm the details you’ve already messaged them in your voice mail blast. Your email should sound something like this:

“Hi, here’s the phone numbers again and I just wanted to let you know, I’m on the other line waiting for you. Now that you have the phone in your hand, it’s going to be pretty easy for you to dial in.” Something to that.

They’ll think that you’re organized and professional and they will value your reminder messages to them. Remember, your JV speaker on the call is most likely going to sell something to your audience. But make sure you sell at the end of the call.

What I usually do at the end of the call with my JV partner is I will give the speaker the URL to drive everybody to. I do this so that they can go through and order from the location that I want them to – that’s the location associated with this particular JV’s teleseminar. I also may set up a voice mail that’s specifically designed for them, for – basically, what that offer says online when the people go to it. I’ll also have a voice mail that says that same exact thing to get people to go there, too. I’ll ensure that everything is set up so that all the money comes to me first. This ensures I keep track of the sales being made. I get access to the money because this is my teleseminar and my list.

After we do that, then the last thing is, I pay my JV partner 30 days out. It’s a 50/50 split on all the deals that I do. I suggest you do the same because you need to make this a win-win for both you and your JV partner. Afterall, all they had to do was talk for an hour and make thousands of dollars in return. It’s a pretty sweet deal. You too can make deals like this if you only set them up and just make it happen!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The Right Way to Ask Your Customers ...“How Did You Hear About Us?”

When you run an online business it is always extremely important to know where your customers heard about you and how they landed on your site in the first place. Did they read an article, see your press release, click on your Google Adwords campaign or find you through the search engines? You need to know this so that you can evaluate what things are producing the best results and bringing visitors to your site. Remember, you want to minimize your time and effort and also spend your advertising dollars in the right place – a place that’s going to produce results!

So, how do you go about asking your visitors how they heard about you? Well, it’s a fairly simple process:

Basically you would use an autoresponder software program to produce an opt-in/sqeeze-page. But before you produce your opt-in page and ask your visitors how they heard about you, you’ll have to place this page in the right area of your website. Don’t just ask the question on any old webpage, "...how did you hear about us"? This is doomed to fail if you do this in the wrong area of your website. It’s useless to ask if your visitor really hasn’t done anything. If you do you’ll lose your traffic and you wouldn’t get them back at that time.

You don’t want to give your visitors too many options. So, the best time to offer an opt-in page is if your customer has made a purchase through your website. Don’t forget; let them do one thing at a time. So after they have bought a product from you, send them an email and ask them: "Hey, I just wanted to know how you heard about me?" That way they would be more willing to respond since they’ve already purchased from you and they also see that you are interested in them.

This is the best way to gain feedback from your visitors. You’ll find out exactly how they heard about you. There will be no guessing. Based on the feedback they provide you’ll see where most of your traffic is coming from and make the necessary changes of where to put more or less of your time and money. It’s a great way to leverage but also a great way to hear what your visitors are saying and a great way to offer them exactly what it is they want.

Are Name Squeeze Pages Only Meant for Certain Types of Products?

If you are considering having a name squeeze page also known as an autoresponder or opt-in page to sell a product you’re definitely on the right track! It really doesn’t matter what your product is even if your products are outside of the internet marketing niche an opt-in page is a definite must. Whether you’re selling an inexpensive e-book at $19.95 or a high-ticket item like an LCD or camera that sells for $1000 you’ll still require an autoresponder sequence to capture your visitors and potential customers. Once you capture those names they are now your list that you can market to time and time again.

Why should you pay for an autoresponder service when it doesn’t guarantee a sale?

Well, as previously mentioned, once you have the visitors contact information, you now own that information and can sell to them at any time in the future. Even if you pay an autresponder service $30 per month, just think how many sales you can make with your list over that month period and into the coming months! It’s most likely you’ll be making well over $30 per customer so a monthly fee of $30 per month is relatively miniscule.

Capture is Key

The way to lure people into your opt-in page is to let them know that you can share with them the best way to get the best deal and find the best products! Once they opt-in to your list they will discover one of the most amazing LCD - plasma TV’s they could ever imagine. And then on the next page they would be led to a sales page where you’re offering that product – in this case or the LCD – plasma tv. But I’d have them always “squeeze in” or have a way that you could capture their information to make sure you have ownership of their contact information so that you can keep marketing similar products to them in the future that may be of interest to them.

If you are looking for a good autoresponder system, consider one of the top opt-in platforms used by the top online marketers and website owners. Aweber is the most cost effective, efficient and complete package with Unlimited Autoresponders, Follow Ups, Newsletters capabilities and support 24/7.

Why consider Aweber Autoresponder System? Consider these advantages they offer on their homepage at www.Aweber.com:

Remember to capture and test your list. See what works best for your market so that you can reap greater rewards in the future.

“Nail that Radio Show Interview with these Tips”

Do you have products to promote? If you have an Internet business then the answer is a definite “yes”. Did you know that you can promote your products and improve your image through radio interviews? Learn how to book radio interviews that will give you and your business the publicity exposure it desperately needs. This can be accomplished because there are thousands and thousands of radio shows all over the country.

There are two main ways to obtain a radio interview:
1. Become an interesting guest. Become articulate.
2. Record your own radio infomercial. This works if you have your conversions right. You need to know how to convert the traffic on television and radio shows.

One of the ways to get on the radio is to advertise in the “Radio TV Interview Report” magazine. The only way to obtain this magazine is if you are a producer of a TV or radio show. They will verify that you are a producer. You can place an ad in this magazine.

Tip: Make the radio show host’s job easy. Send them a format that is easy to understand and useful to their listeners. You will start out with five minute shows and move onto 2 hours of an interview in the future.

When you’re on a radio show you want to be able to convert your information into sales. How can you accomplish this? Try these techniques:

Technique #1: Establish which is more profitable: lead generation or direct sales? Remember, it is difficult to get someone to marry you on the first date, so the same applies to the first contact with your audience.

Technique #2: Be careful about the words you say on the radio interview. If you say something is “free” then you better give it away for free.

Tip: You can also post information in magazines and ezines.

Tips during the radio interview when you are promoting your book:
1. Offer the listeners the option of downloading a digital version of your free book on a website for a limited time offer. When they get to your website tell them that they can have the free book if they opt-in for your list.

2. Track your sales through 1shoppingcart.com. You can pinpoint which radio shows brought in the most money. You can determine which offers are the most lucrative.
