“6 More Tips to Make Money from your Customer List”

6 more ways to make money from your list:
1. Give away free items to earn profits on the back end.
An example is to give away a free eBook in the beginning. Then at the end of the content of the eBook, it offers things to buy from you. You can also give away e-courses and reports. Within this content you can integrate the sale of your products. Just make sure you provide quality content interspersed with sales content.

2. Give trial offers. You find an affiliate program that offers a trial period. For example, you give away a month or two month trial of the affiliate’s program. Many affiliate programs are happy to give away free trial periods because they know that most people who sign up will continue to use the program after the free trial period.

3. Offer demos. An example is to give away a demo of your software or program. The demo has an expiration date.

4. Offer training videos. An example is to make a training video on how to use a software program. Make sure to give your affiliate link with the offer so when people actually buy the software you will earn a commission.

5. Turn your subscribers into marketing partners. Have your list members actively promote your business for you. You can turn a small list into an army of people that generate business for you.

How do you accomplish this? When people first sign up for your list, send them a free eBook. Provide a link with this eBook which lets them promote your business by sending this free eBook to other people that they know.

Tip: Don’t look at your list as just people you can sell to, but as people that can sell for you and promote your business.

6. Use two-tier affiliate programs. Build a down line by using the list members and give your list members eBooks to help build their own business. Your list members give away this free material and earn a commission and you earn commission on any sales that are generated.

Tip: Train people how to become more effective affiliates so you can make more money from them.

“How Schedulers can Book more Appointments

You have employed Schedulers. They set up the appointments for the phone consultations of the sales people. Everything is running smoothly, but you are not getting enough appointments booked each week. How can you motivate your Schedulers to increase the number of phone consultations they book each week?

One option is to put on a board, that is visible to everybody in the office, the number of appointments they schedule each day. Set goals and make them accountable by placing these on a board. The goal is to schedule 60 appointments a week.

Also remind Schedulers that the more the scheduler books the more money they will make. This is a huge incentive especially if the sales person sells high ticket items. Depending on your commission structure, the Scheduler could make 1% of the sales on the call which can add up quickly.

Remind Schedulers that the better quality person they schedule an appointment with, the more money they will make. This means that they want to schedule appointments with people that are eager and not try to schedule appointments with people who desperately don’t want a phone consultation.

Many Internet markets get on the phone with their customers for every single product that they sell. Why? There is always an upgrade you can sell to them. There are ways to always make more money.

So now you have your Schedulers motivated and booking more appointments. What should they focus on before booking the session to make it even easier to book more appointments? Explain that you want to be very brief with the person on the phone. Introduce yourself and remind them of what they bought. For example, the Scheduler can say “As you probably know one of your free bonuses was a free consultation with the product you purchased…” Have a script that they can refer to and read from.

Give customers only 2-3 options for scheduling. If you don’t they will tend to go around the point and you may not get your session booked.

Don’t go into a lot of details about what the strategy session is going be about. Just be brief and say that you are going to set up a free strategy session to help their online business.

Basically, Schedulers should strive to get on the phone, get off the phone and get the appointment set as quickly as possible.

“Don’t Reinvent the Wheel: Model your Sales Letter Copy.”

Sales letters are vital for your business. Otherwise how would you sell your products and services? A sales letter has a certain amount of steps and pieces. For example, there are 15 steps to creating a sales letter.

A sales letter is like walking someone through the sales process without slapping them in the face by saying “Hey I’m selling to you.” Your sales letter should make customer want to buy the product.

Remember that when you write a sales letter you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, you can learn from copywriting that is already out there. One way to find out what sales letters are currently being used is to sign up for newsletters for Internet marketers and copywriters to see what their copy looks like. The purpose of this is to learn the marketing tips such as what kinds of headlines they use, how they ask for money, and what kind of P.S. they use.

Always research what other marketers are doing. Study what they are doing. Model and swipe. Don’t steal it, just model it. Great marketers know how successful business and sales letters are run and use that same format for themselves. You are stealing the format which is not the same as plagiarizing. So read, read, and read some more.

You don’t have to be a great writer. You just have to follow the model of successful copy.

It’s important to know that there are two different types of sales letters:
Sales Letter Type #1: “Regular” sales letters sell your products and services.
Sales Letter Type #2: A FREE CD sales letter that sells an item for the cost of shipping and handling only.

Tip: Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% of your customers will be garbage while the other 20% will bring in the most money.

So your task right now is to sign up for different email lists. Read and evaluate the emails and sales letters they present to you. Notice their copy. How did they write the headline and subheadline of the sales letter? What did the body of the sales letter look like? What did you like and not like about the sales letters? Then apply what drew you in to your own sales letter.

“The Secret Selling Sauce Recipe”

Selling. It is the key to making money. You have to be able to sell and close. You can’t just give away your content. You have to convert list subscribers into buyers. How can you sell to your list? There are two main methods of selling: You can work alone or you can build a sales team. It depends on your preference, resources, and goals.

No matter which method you choose, they are both going to revolve around one-on-one sales calls. I’m here to let you know the recipe of the secret selling sauce and how to make it happen.

Basically, you want to drive traffic to a squeeze page. At this squeeze page the subscribers will then be sent to a free CD page. Once they buy the free CD by sending only the amount for shipping and handling, it’s your turn to swoop and sell one-on-one. How do you do this? You get them on the phone and sell to them one-on-one.

Note: While on the phone you can sell to one-on-one or one too many.

Let’s look at selling one-on-one. You can accomplish this by getting on the phone with each person that buys. The phone call can be considered a free bonus for purchasing your product. For example, you can offer a free phone strategy session or consultation.

Once they buy the product you will have your scheduler schedule the phone call. You have them book an appointment. The purpose and outcome of a call is to get the customer to purchase or invest in a higher ticket item.

You can do all of this yourself or outsource it to other people. For example, you can have a sales team person get on the phone one-on-one and up sell to each person when they talk to them on the phone. These people can work from all over the country or you can have in-house sales team.

Why have a scheduler and a sales person? Why can’t the sales person schedule the calls? It is important to know that you might hear a lot of “no’s” when you try to schedule appointments. These no’s can bring down the enthusiasm of the sales person. Therefore, have a scheduler deal with the no’s and have the sales person only deal with actual appointments.

Get started on setting up appointments for this free bonus session. You would be surprised at how much you can up sell to these qualified leads.

“Your $100,000 Teleseminar: Are you prepared?”

Let’s say that you want to have a free teleseminar on a Thursday. This is the perfect day of the week to try to make $100,000 through this call. You’ve let people know about the call by sending an email giving the date and time, but what else do you need to do to prepare?

Follow these steps:

Step #1: Get the phone lines for the teleseminar. Book them with the phone company. Use the website http://www.freeteleconnection.com if you are going to need less than 100 phone lines for the call. Use http://www.eagletelecom.com if you will have more than 100 people on the call.

You need to make sure that you have enough phone lines for the call. You need to book the lines first so you can give people the telephone number to call and the pin number to use.

Step #2: Set up a squeeze page. This squeeze page is specifically designed to get people to sign up for the teleseminar. It is a called a “squeeze page-tele”. It lets people know all about the call including the time and what will be talked about on the call. Have people subscribe at this page. The Autoresponder will capture their information and immediately send them an email. The email will thank them for signing up for the teleseminar and give them the telephone number, pin code, and instructions.

Tip: Getting rich is not about originality, it is about modeling great things. Success leaves clues so use templates from successful teleseminars used in the past.

Make sure you ask for these three things on the squeeze page:
1. Ask for their name.
2. Ask for their email address
3. Ask for their phone number

Why should you also get their phone number? Let’s say the teleseminar is going to be at 9pm. At 8:45pm you send an email reminder about the call. Then at 8:50pm you send out a voice broadcast to remind people about the call. Most people don’t send out this voice broadcast which can be very effective in getting more people to actually show up for the call. The voice broadcast gets them on the phone so they will stay on the phone for your teleseminar.

What should you say in the voice broadcast? Say something like the following…

“Hi this is Matt Bacak. I just wanted to let you know that tonight I have special guest “X” to talk about “X”. You are registered for the call at this number. I want to make sure you get on the call. The phone number is “X” and the pin code is “X”. If you miss that phone number, don’t worry. Just check your email because I sent this information to your email five minutes ago. I wish I could call everybody personally, but I am already on the call waiting for you.”

So when you send out the voice broadcast then you have already gotten the phone in their hands. (They need the phone in order to get on the call.) This strategy will increase the amount of attendance you will have.

“$100,000 Teleseminar – Which day is best?”

Are you looking to make as much money as possible from just one teleseminar? Of course you are! Did you know that you could make $100,000 from just one teleseminar if you know how? It’s very exciting to be able to earn this kind of money.

The three main steps to earning $100,000 from one teleseminar call include the following:
1. Drive traffic to your squeeze page.
2. Get the people on your squeeze page to take your offer of a free CD.
3. Get all these people to attend a teleseminar where you up sell to them.

Let’s look at these steps in more detail to see how you can take advantage of this process. So first we drive traffic to a squeeze page and we capture people’s information.
With all the people that you capture you can do a mass mailing to all of them. (Not just the people from the squeeze page, but everybody). You can send a mass mailing about a teleseminar. It is at this teleseminar call that you can make the $100,000.

You don’t even have to talk at the teleseminar. You can have somebody else talk. In that case, your job is to promote it like crazy to your list.

These are FREE teleseminars. (At the end of the call you sell them something.)
Do a teleseminar at 9pm on a Thursday night because this is one of the best times to do a call.

What about other days of the week? Here are my thoughts on these days and times:
Monday calls – Not best sales time calls. Good for calls that contain information.

Tuesday calls – Great day to do a sales call. Do it at 9pm on Tuesday. A lot of people sign up for this time, but the actual show up rate is not as high. Usually one-third to fifty percent actually shows up for the call.

Wednesday calls – Not as many people sign up for this call time, but of the people that sign up for the call a higher percentage actually buy.

Thursday calls – This is a great time for a call. Lots of people sign up and actually show up for the call.

Saturday calls – This is a really hot time because nobody else does it at this time. Do it at 11am EST. These are good times for people that can’t make it during the week. Fewer people may sign up, but a higher percentage of them buy.

Sunday calls – Never tried it then. This is my family day.

Now here’s the secret. The whole job is to get as many ears to phones as you can. The more people on the call, the more money you can make. If you have a successful teleseminar then have an encore presentation at the same time and day of the week. You may be the proud owner of a $100,000 if you follow these tips.

“6 FAQ about Internet Businesses”

Question #1: Other than teleseminars and one-on-one, what is the best way to build a relationship with clients?

Answer: Let your clients know who you are as a person. Let them know you are more than a product or service and that you are human. For example, let them know that you are real by sending out non-business related content such as a family newsletter.

Question #2: Here’s my situation. I want to use Google AdWords to promote an affiliate site. When an Internet visitor clicks on the Google AdWords advertisement should I send them directly to the affiliate’s website or to my own website first?

Answer: Send them to your website first. Create a squeeze page of your own so you can capture their information. Then once they sign up send them to your affiliate’s website. If you send them directly to the affiliate’s website then you will lose out on their information. This would prevent you from marketing to them on your own in the future.

Question #3: Do you suggest doing a squeeze page and sales letter page to get people to order freebies so you can build your list?

Answer: If Internet visitors have already gone through your squeeze page then they are on your list. You don’t need to “squeeze” them again with a squeeze page related to your freebies.

Question #4: Here’s my situation. I want to give away a free 30 minute video interview plus a transcript and a free report. My question is – Should I give away the free video interview or the free report?

Answer: Give away both the video interview and the report for free. Video interviews are hot right now so that would be a great thing to give away. However, you have to understand the needs and wants of your niche. For example, are people in your niche audio or visual? Are they used to reading? Do they want to watch and listen to a video instead?

Question #5: Here’s my situation. I received an email list from somebody that wants to do a joint venture with me. My question is – Should I send out the email to this list?

Answer: No. The email should be sent for you by the person that owns the list. You should not import their list into your Autoresponder because this is known as spamming. Plus, if you send it, the email recipients have no idea who you are and could report you as spam.

Question #6: Somebody that had legitimately signed up for my list gave a spam complaint about an email I sent. How can I defend myself against this?

Answer: You need to find exactly who posted this spam complaint. You need to prove that this person legitimately opted-in for your list. Immediately delete them from your list. Take a screen shot of this to prove that you deleted them from your list. Save their information into a separate file in case you need it later.

It’s important to realize that you will get spam complaints that you don’t deserve. This happens. Receiving a few spam complaints every once in awhile is okay. However, if you receive a lot of spam complaints then that is not a good situation.

“How to Attract your Goal Income each Month”

Can you answer the following five questions correctly?
1.) What three words will make you hand over all your money to me?
Answer: “Stick ‘em up!”

2.) What eight words will get you to never have money worries again?
Answer: “You never have to worry about money again.”

3.) What one word is the greatest word in the history of marketing?
Answer: FREE!

4.) Besides fear, what is a prime motivator that will get people to listen to you?
Answer: Curiosity is a prime motivator.

5.) What’s the best way to get your customers curious about you, your business, and your products and services?
Answer: You can get more of what you want by asking open ended questions. This gets people engaged.

How did you do? Let’s look at the answer to question #2 - “You never have to worry about money again.” What does this mean to you? It means freedom, security, and a worry free life. Most of us use worry as a motivator. Usually this does not work. Instead, you should act on your intuition and not worry. If you worry, you are limiting your own ability to act.

Instead, you should focus on positively attracting the things you desire to you. Try this exercise.

1.) Take a piece of paper. Write an intention about your income.
2.) Use curiosity and hypnotic words to engage your own mind to attract money.
3.) Do you want more money and income every month? Everybody does.
4.) Write how much money you want to make each month. Stretch your possibilities a little bit. Your goal should excite you and scare you a little bit. Make it something that energizes you.
5.) What would be better than what you want to make per month? This is the ideal.
6.) What is your ideal?
7.) Write that you want to make a particular amount of money per month and something better. This is your new intention.
8.) Now, imagine receiving this new intention (the amount of money you want per month or better) and allow this to surface in your awareness. What does that feel like to you? What does that look like to you? How does your experience of receiving that goal amount of money feel to you? It may make you smile. Enjoy the thought. Imagine what you are doing with that money. How are you spending it? How are you investing it? Who are you paying with it?

Guess what. By completing this exercise you are well on your way to attracting the things you want. You have a positive mindset that will help you earn the income you want. Engage in this exercise often. You would be surprised at the awesome results you can enjoy.
