How to Dominate Your Niche – Part 1

Have you ever searched for a high demand keyword in your niche in Google or any of the major search engines and realized that your competitor was ahead of you for that specific keyword? Yup, their search position was ahead of you so that means more people or going to their site instead of yours. Well, today is your lucky day because I have the formula that will take you to a higher position and move you further ahead. Now your page rank will be better than theirs! Sound impossible? Well it’s not. If you follow my fool-proof process, you’re sure to rise above your competition for the keyword in question.

The first thing you need to do is set up a Blog. Just go to Blogger.com and set up an account for that specific website niche you’re trying to dominate. The reason for this is that you want to come up as the first person to have written about a specific topic in your niche. This allows you to claim your content and will show everyone (even the haters) that you are the authority and came up with the content first since Blogger date stamps your posts. This will hinder any copycatters from stealing your information. However, by posting to your blog your content is also picked up faster by the search engines. This will help you get more traffic.

Next you need to take that same article you posted to your blog and post it to your website also known as your branding site. This ensures your content is on your site first before anyone else – even before they are picked up by articles sites. Since you have not submitted your article to be used again and again on article sites yet, nobody can steal your content since it’s branded on your site.

Next, you need to write articles. Articles are a great way to garner more traffic especially if you submit your article to big article sites like EzineArticles.com. Google loves this site because it gets a ton of traffic and provides good content. And if your article is posted on a high page ranking site like this google will boost your article to the top of the search engines!

These are the first steps you need to take to begin dominating your niche. In part two of this article, I’m going to give you more ways to help you take over top positions in your niche. So for now, implement the above tips and start your dominiche process now.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Creating a Blog Video

Producing your own blog videos is a great way to gain interest for what it is you are offering – whether it be a service or a product. Blog videos are contagious! They can be watched by one person and that person passes it on to several other people they think may be interested. It can also be posted on one site and viewed by thousands that landed on your particular website. Talk about viral marketing!

So, how do I achieve my success with my video blogs? It's pretty simple. It just takes proper planning and solid implementation.

The latest blogger buzz is blogging from YouTube. Basically if you're a video blogger, you can upload your videos directly to Blogger.com blog platform. You can easily post your YouTube videos to your blog because Blogger makes it fairly easy for the non-techie.

Anyways, all you need to do to set up your YouTube account to post videos to your blog using the share button. Usually you'll enter your blog information once, and then once you click "share" from any YouTube video page, it will be available to the masses.

Let me explain even exactly how I do this. First of all, you can use Blogspot (Blogger.com), which is a free hosting service. You simply go inside your Blogger settings where it says "Publishing." However, I choose to publish via FTP. You can actually do the same by creating a custom domain so that you can point your own registered domain to your blog. That's exactly what I do.

So, it'll ask you, what is the FTP server? So let me give you an example. You can't do this because you're not going to know my username and password, but my example is this...

My FTP server is ftp.MattBacak.com, so you want to do ftp.yourdomain.com. And then it says, "What is your blog URL?" Well, since my blog URL is actually my actual URL, I just typed in my URL, so it was http://www.mydomain.com. And the next thing it says "FTP pass." Well, FTP pass is actually – is a forward slash, that's all I put there. It says "Blog index file." The file name is index.html. The reason is because if the file already exists on your server it'll be overwritten. So I am having my main page, that page is specially designed for my blog so I want it to always be the index page. Now it says, "Feed file name" and then they'll put the file name there. After that it says, "FTP information" – that's where I put my username and my password and then I pushed that and that's all I did. Now my video blog is up and running and I can continue to submit more videos as I create them.

Set up your blog account at blogger or publish via FTP. Whichever you choose, as long as you make your videos and publish them, your videos will become a viral machine and you'll start to see further growth in your online business.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

“7 Frequently Asked Questions about Blogs”

Do you have a Blog for your Internet business? If not, have you considered setting up a Blog in the near future? Blogs are yet another tool you can use to market and promote your Internet business. You can have a Blog even if you don’t have an Internet website.

Blogs are relatively new technology to many Internet business owners. Following are a list of common questions associated with Blogs.

Blog Question #1: What is the purpose of submitting to Blogs before you have a website? The main purpose is to help establish your name on the Internet. In addition, search engines love Blog content. These search engines eat new content up like candy. Your Blog can supply the new content candy that these search engines have a craving for.

Writing a Blog also helps to establish a habit of consistently updating web content regarding you or your business. This habit puts new content on the Internet resulting in an increase in your Internet presence. The more work you put into your Blog, on a consistent basis, the more you will reap in rewards.

Blog Question #2: Is there a preferred Blogger site? This is a difficult question to give one answer to because it depends on your preferences, needs, and capabilities. So the answer is to find the Blogger site that makes sense to you and makes you feel the most comfortable.

Blog Question #3: What are the “no-no’s” of writing Blogs such as mentioning celebrity names, brand names, and/or friends? There aren’t really any established no-no’s. The content you post on your Blog is up to you as long as it is not libel or slander. However, you might want to ask or tell your friends that you are going to write about them.

Blog Question #4: Should I use real names in a Blog? If the person/people know that you are going to use their real name than it should be okay. Make sure to ask them before you post the information to your Blog.

Blog Question #5: How do you keep people from copying your Blog? It’s difficult to find out if people copy from your Blogs. So don’t waste time worrying about it.

Blog Question #6: Of my own Blogs, should I copyright Blogs that are similar in structure to articles and/or are my favorite Blogs? You can if you want to, but it can be a waste of time and not save you from somebody else copying it anyway. It is your call whether or not you want to take this extra step.

Blog Question #7: Should I sell my Blogs to a Blog website that will then own my Blogs? No, don’t give other sites rights to your Blog content.
