After Following the 3 Step Teleseminar Process... Create Your CPanel Redirect & Plan Your Process

If you’ve read my last article on my three step teleseminar process you’ll have a good idea of how to prepare for your next teleseminar. After you have your JV partners lined up for your call and are working on increasing your list through your web form, the next thing that you need to do is create a redirect in your cpanel.

What I do is I’ll typically go into my control panel and I’ll create what’s called a redirect. A redirect is a link that when clicked on leads to another link url. So what this means is instead of me saying “Hey guys, just wanted you to know, go to www.mclss.com/cgi-bin/1239/245/” or some other crazy link I’ll create a new link inside the C-panel which is a redirect. I’ll create something like www.promotingtips.com/formula. That’s exactly how I do it. It’s actually a redirect to my order link. And so what happens is I’m forwarding that link to the actual order link. So when I’m on the call, I’ll say, “Hey, guys, where I want you to go right now is promotingtips.com/formula. That’s promotingtips.com/formula.” This is a great strategy especially if you are working with a long ugly url address. It allows you to say a clean and easy to understand web address while you’re on a teleseminar call. Your visitors will be able to follow what you are saying much easier than if you gave them a difficult url to write down.

By doing this you not only make it easy for them to comprehend but you make it as easy as possible so that you can make the sale!

You may be wondering why I create my redirect in my shopping cart. Well, the reason is so that it goes through my merchant account.

Once you have your shopping cart and redirects set up, you’ll want to concentrate on your squeeze page. I’m not too keen on sending out an email, saying, “Here’s the phone number to get on the call, here’s all that stuff...” Why? Well, you want to be able to capture your visitors name and email address. Basically, you want to make sure you capture people’s information so you can put them in a new autoresponder. So what I’ll do is I’ll go inside Autoresponse Plus (that’s the software I use to create my squeeze pages) and I’ll create a new autoresponder.

But here’s a great trick I know you’ll love! When you are creating an autoresponder email address use dates. Put the date and the year of each particular teleseminar. I use this method and it works really well for me. I decided not only to put the date but also the year because it’s really important for me to know what year that call happened. I need to know this because I’ve done calls three and four years ago.

If you’ll be doing teleseminar calls for years to come, then you should definitely ensure you have the year written in the email address as well for example tele110808@mydomain.com . That would be the email address or the autoresponder name. So basically, once you have that done, you need to create a squeeze page that is associated with that autoresponder. So, you need to connect the form of the autoresponder on the squeeze page and create a specific squeeze page so that you can capture people’s information.

You’ll want to create a place where people can go to sign up. You can do this by capturing their first name, their email address, and their phone number. As long as you clearly state what they are signing up for ensuring you mention the benefits they will gain by listening to the call, you’re sure to get a ton of sign ups. So, if you’re going to hold a teleseminar, as long as you have your squeeze page set up leading to a new autoresponder for each teleseminar - this will allow you to be able to know exactly where your visitors are going. As long as you plan and implement your process, your call is sure to be a success!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

What You Need to Do to Systematize Your Business

When running an online business the only way to success is to have an organized system of steps that you follow in order to make your business run smoothly. There are many people who have successful online websites. But the reason they are successful is because their business is systematized. Granted there are those who fluked at their success but somewhere along the line they had a system in place and may not have even realized it.

If you already have a website but it's not creating the returns you had hoped for then make sure you have these steps in place for a smoother more profitable website.

1.Make sure you have an autoresponder in place to capture email addresses. This is critical! You need to build a list so that you can sell to them again and again. But having an autoresponder opt-in page is not enough. Go and log into your autoresponder. But make sure the autoresponder is working properly. Sign up yourself and test it to make sure your messages are going out.

2.Submit your website to free directories.

3.Monitor your Google Adwords. Test and track to see what's going on with your campaigns and analyze your results. Spend a good coffee day doing this.

4.Write Articles and ensure you have your niche keywords or the main keywords for your website sprinked throughout the content of your article

5.Submit your article to article directory sites like www.ArticleCity.com, www.EzineArticles.com or www.GoArticles.com.

6.Summarize your articles. Take those summaries of those articles and turn those summaries into emails. Start adding these informative summaries to you autoresponder sequence so that you have emails going out. I wouldn't just turn the summaries into short emails. Make sure those emails have a link that leads to a new website page with the full article. This will make it an informative website – basically off of your site. So, whatever your squeeze page is, dot com, forward slash, your site and then squeeze page article(s).

7.One thing I do is I would go look into my ListOpt. I would check to see – if the amount of people it says they sent me and the amount of people that I have in my autoresponder look pretty much the same.

8.Go in to your autoresponder list and see if there's any unsubscribers and delete them immediately.
9.Start writing your sales letter emails for your product. If you don't have your own product find affiliate products you can sell. See if your affiliates have articles and emails already pre-written that you can use to target your own list.

10.If you don't have your own product you need to create one as soon as possible. You can do this by creating a teleseminar. It doesn't matter if your list is very small (say 50 people) or very large (15,000 people). It's best if you make every mistake when you don't have that many people on your call. In any event, you can record it and sell your teleseminar as a product. You want to turn it into a product asap. You could even turn your teleseminar into a download that you can send out to your list to start building a rapport with them.

11.Look for those you want to do joint ventures with regardless of whether you have an established relationship with them or not. Place them on your potential JV list.

12.Make it happen! A great way for creating products and/or services – or to make money, is to create a day to launch. This ensures you commit and make it happen.

Follow these steps and you're sure to see great results!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

How to Segment Your List Using Autoresponders

If you have a website and are using autoresponders to capture your audiences contact information, then commend yourself as this is a huge accomplishment! Most online websites fail to see the value of an opt-in form on their website. Opt-in forms actually make a business plan work and it is a definite requirement for growing any business online.

Your list is a goldmine and you have to know what your readers want. But your main concern is to capture names and send your list information. Although your opt-in page lists bullet point benefits of what you have to offer your visitors, you can do more with your list. You can segment your list. Segmentation allows you to broaden your product selection and allows you to offer more products to help increase your sales.

So exactly how do you set up your autoresponder message sequence?

There is a seven sequence rule I follow. You should think about sending seven messages to your list. But remember, this sequence of emails is sent every few days. Send some messages every two days then five days later then back to two days later etc. You want to do this so that your subscriber never expects your message. You want to surprise them, keep them on their toes and keep them interested in what it is you are offering them. Make sure you are offering valuable content so that your reader always anxiously awaits your next email. You want them to feel that you are giving them extremely helpful information that they simply cannot find anywhere else. However, it is also crucial that the emails you send them on the third and seventh day should be sending them to a sales letter squeeze-page. Remember, on these days you are selling to them. This strategy has been very successful whenever I implement it so I suggest you also implement this strategy in your online business.

When you send these emails on the third and seventh day of your seven email sequence, the reader can then be sent to another squeeze-page and at this point they'll be entering a new autoresponder sequence that segments them even further. I use this simple strategy to segment my list and you should use it too in your list segmentation. But you should note that these are also short content email messages created to prompt your reader to click on links placed in the email. Your links will always lead to a sales page for a product or service you are offering them.

That other autoresponder sequence (the second squeeze-page sequence after they enter the first sequence) that I'm sending them to is going to be a message sent to them every single day. Basically, with these messages, I'll take pieces of the copy – maybe I'll take a paragraph out of the copy, I'll throw it into message 1. I'll take another paragraph of the copy and I'll throw it into message 2. Take another paragraph of the copy and throw it into message 3 and so on.... For example, if I have five testimonials, I might write an email that says, "Five reasons why you need to get this." Reason 1 is testimonial 1, reason 2 is testimonial 2, and so on and so forth. And then each of those emails will have a link back to the actual product so the reader can go buy the product.

List segmentation is necessary to expand and diversify your business. Why not take a look at your autoresponder sequence to make sure you're offering the most you can to your audience.

Matt Bacak

Do You Have a Winning List?

If you have a website business you already know the importance of having a list. Your list of prospects are those that you can email again and again in order to promote your offers and make sales. But how do you know if your list is good you ask?

I’ve heard a lot of people say that they have a terrible list. But what you have to realise is that it is not your list that is bad, it’s about how you approach your list that needs some improvement.

I always ask business owners who make these statements... “Have you tracked how many people actually clicked on your links? Do you know how many people got the emails? Do you know how many sales you had? Do we know how many impressions, or do you know what your open rate is?” People often are unable to answer these questions. But they fail to realise that the answers to these questions should be the basis upon which they build their list and make sales. Basically if you had zero sales there is a problem and it’s often not with your list.

The numbers you want to look at when it comes to emails are:

What’s your impressions? - If your impressions aka open rates are low, it means that your subject line or your deliverability needs improvement. I use Autoresponse Plus for my autoresponder email messages to my prospects. If you’re using Autoresponse Plus, you can use link tracking. It’ll track all of these things for you. If you’re using something else, you’ve got to figure out how that software tracks it so you can see the results.

What’s your click-through rate (CTR)? – Once again, check your deliverability. Your email message may need improvement.

What’s your sales? – If your sales are low, that means your sales letter is weak and needs improvement.

The biggest problem I see most people have is they don’t add curiosity to the subject line of their email. If your open rate and your impressions are low, that means that people are either not getting your email or your subject line is very weak. And so what you need to do is you need to build a better subject line.

Here’s an example of one of the ones that worked really well for me. It was actually about a tax attorney that I wanted to have on a tele-call. But I said, “My attorney wants to speak to you…” Now, that got some heads turning. Remember, there’s nothing different between a subject line and a headline. Add curiosity and you’ll definitely see an improvement in your CTR.

Another thing to consider is in order to increase your email open rate is not to exceed 50 characters per line. As long as you communicate with your prospect like they are your friend and you keep your emails short and sweet and then send your readers to the sales letter page you will see an improvement in your conversions.

Follow these tips and see your sales soar!

Matt Bacak

Grow Your List and Your Traffic with Article Submission

If you have a website online you know the necessity of providing useful content for your readers. But did you ever think that the content on your site could be made into articles and distributed all over the internet to bring you oodles of visitors – more than natural SEO? Well, it’s true. If you can submit at least two articles to an article site per day, you’re on target to make more money by leading more visitors to your site.

If you plan to use this strategy, just ensure that the articles you are providing are helpful to your audience. Make sure you’re offering valuable information that will help them.

Here are some article sites you can submit to:

· ezinearticles.com
· submityourarticles.com
· searchwarp.com
· ezarticles.com
· articlebin.com
· articlebeach.com
· articlehub.com
· articlegarden.com
· articlesphere.com
· media13.com
· visiblecontent.com
· articlegeek.com
· articlewise.com
· articlejoe.com
· alumbo.com
· linkgrinder.com

Posting your articles to these sites are the first step. But you’re not done yet. After you submit your articles to these sites you need to repost these articles on your own website. After I post my articles to my site I post them again on my blog, my myspace page, my squidoo lense and my other Web 2.0 social networking sites. These sites get a ton of traffic and are already ranked very well by the search engines so it’s a win-win by posting there.

After that I summarize the article and add that summary to an email to send to my list. Basically, I’m making that summary message number one of my autoresponder sequence. The full article will be accessed when my visitors click on the link I provide in the summary email. I do this over and over again with all of my articles - offering solid information to my list to ensure they continue to read my articles. But the best part of it all is that I can make money by leading them to my articles that have Google Adsense on it. That way I can make money even from my customers that don’t buy the products that I am promoting. It’s a very clever way to make money and I think everyone should be using this strategy. If you’re offering good, solid information, it’s always best to ensure you make money off of the majority of your visitors – even if they don’t buy.

So, if you’re not using articles to further monetize your site and draw in extra traffic you should start now! The interest in articles will never subside. People love knowledge and they are always looking for a way to take advantage of the information given to them. There’s no better or simpler way than providing articles to your list.

Submit some articles and begin to reap the rewards … with a little bit of work.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Does Your Squeeze Page Make the Grade?

Like most online websites, your site probably has a squeeze-page and offers your readers good information. Your visitors simply opt-in and sign up for whatever it is you are offering them and automatically get sent information. What a great concept! However, are you getting the most signups possible? Any idea what your sign-up conversion rate is? Well, if you haven’t already tested your squeeze pages to see how well they are performing look no further. I have done it for you!
There are many things you can do to your squeeze-page to ensure your opt-in rate is the highest it can possibly be. You want to make sure your visitors are intrigued and are lured in by your opt-in page. But you can only do this if you know the “graphical rules” of a good opt-in or shall I say squeeze- page as it is commonly referred to as.

Rules to Increase Your Opt-In/Squeeze-Page Conversion Rate:

1. If you are going to put benefits on your squeeze-page, I have found that if you have bullets, your squeeze-page should have three, maybe five bullets max - that’s it! Notice I did not say four or two. That’s because you should not use even numbers. Use odd numbers. We’ve found an odd number of bullets increases conversion.

2. The button on your squeeze page should say something like “Grab this information” or “Grab this free e-book.” You can to put a caret - which is a greater than sign symbol. It’s right above the period. Use the carets to point to the button as this will often increase your conversion.

3. Putting a red box around your opt-in also increases your conversion on your squeeze-page.

So, those are some key things to implement right away because if you increase your conversions on your squeeze page, it’ll increase your sales. That means more people are buying from you which means more money in your pocket!

You must also remember that in your autoresponder sequence the first day your visitor signs up, you should immediately send them a welcome message. Follow that up with some good information related to your niche. Send this information about an hour after your welcome message. A lot of autoresponders don’t offer hourly notifications. However, if you use the software I highly recommend and have told you about continuously – Autoresponse Plus, this software has this capability.

The next day you can send them another message that sends them to your sales page for your low-end product or service. I offer the low-end product or service so that hopefully they will purchase and I’ll be able to offer them my bonus phone consultation offer and then give them the up-sell at that point.

This sequence has worked wonders for me and returned thousands upon thousands of dollars. I highly recommend you try following these autoresponder tips as I’m sure they will be just as successful for you as they are for me. Best of luck!

Matt Bacak

Are Name Squeeze Pages Only Meant for Certain Types of Products?

If you are considering having a name squeeze page also known as an autoresponder or opt-in page to sell a product you’re definitely on the right track! It really doesn’t matter what your product is even if your products are outside of the internet marketing niche an opt-in page is a definite must. Whether you’re selling an inexpensive e-book at $19.95 or a high-ticket item like an LCD or camera that sells for $1000 you’ll still require an autoresponder sequence to capture your visitors and potential customers. Once you capture those names they are now your list that you can market to time and time again.

Why should you pay for an autoresponder service when it doesn’t guarantee a sale?

Well, as previously mentioned, once you have the visitors contact information, you now own that information and can sell to them at any time in the future. Even if you pay an autresponder service $30 per month, just think how many sales you can make with your list over that month period and into the coming months! It’s most likely you’ll be making well over $30 per customer so a monthly fee of $30 per month is relatively miniscule.

Capture is Key

The way to lure people into your opt-in page is to let them know that you can share with them the best way to get the best deal and find the best products! Once they opt-in to your list they will discover one of the most amazing LCD - plasma TV’s they could ever imagine. And then on the next page they would be led to a sales page where you’re offering that product – in this case or the LCD – plasma tv. But I’d have them always “squeeze in” or have a way that you could capture their information to make sure you have ownership of their contact information so that you can keep marketing similar products to them in the future that may be of interest to them.

If you are looking for a good autoresponder system, consider one of the top opt-in platforms used by the top online marketers and website owners. Aweber is the most cost effective, efficient and complete package with Unlimited Autoresponders, Follow Ups, Newsletters capabilities and support 24/7.

Why consider Aweber Autoresponder System? Consider these advantages they offer on their homepage at www.Aweber.com:

• Reliable, >99.34% email deliverability, fast.
• 51+ Templates for newsletter and follow up design.
• Easily create and add opt-in web forms to your website.
• Free training guides and videos.
• Expert unlimited free customer support.

Remember to capture and test your list. See what works best for your market so that you can reap greater rewards in the future.

“The NET- Marketing System – Step Three”

Remember, the 3 Step Net-marketing System:

N – Niche

E – Expert

T – Target

Let’s take a look at the third step.

Step #3: Target customers in your niche. There is a bounty of ways to target your customers. Plus, many of these ways are free.

1. You can place ads on ezines, search engines, and various websites. The key is to track the effectiveness of each ad. Use pay-per-click advertising.

2. Use other peoples’ traffic and other peoples’ lists. Go back to the people that you worked with to get testimonials and content. Who did you interview? Do they have a complementary list that they would be willing to share? Make sure that you are willing to share the wealth as well when you have an established list.

Tip: Within your niche find out who gets the most traffic and ask for their lists. You can use http://www.alexa.com to find out if they really are getting the traffic to their website that they claim.

Tip: Offer to work through a joint venture affiliate program in order to obtain their lists. You can offer complementary products in your niche. You can promote each other’s complementary products to your subscriber lists.

Tip: Establish relationships with other authorities in your niche right from the start of your online business. These relationships will set you up for joint ventures which can bring in more subscribers and more money.

Tip: Don’t overlook the offline opportunities. You can have joint ventures that are in the offline arena.

3. You can promote and sell your products to website visitors directly on the website and/or after they have opted in to your list. It depends on your niche and product. You can perform testing and see which method works the best.

4. Make sure that customers opt-in to your list when they visit your website. If they close your website before opting in to your list, make sure that you have an exit pop up that asks them to sign up for your list.

5. Make sure to offer free bonuses that tempt people to subscribe to your list. You should also offer free bonuses with your product. The free bonuses should be relevant to your product and the problems of customers that are within your niche. Make sure to give the value of each bonus so your customer will realize just how much of a great deal they are receiving if they sign up for your list and/or buy your product.

6. Follow up with an Autoresponder sequence of emails. These emails continue to build the relationship with your customers. The emails also allow you to continually sell to your customers.

“Triple your Opt-In List in 99 Days – Part I”

How to build and triple your opt-in subscriber list in 99 days or less:

Step #1: Start with your passion. Use the “PIE” principle which is passion, interest, and expertise. You don’t have to be super fast or super smart to succeed in the world; you just have to be one step above the middle ground. This small increment will set you apart and on the road to success.

Step #2: Engage in market research. Go to Google and http://www.goodkeywords.com and http://www.wordtracker.com is a resource that will help you find information about niche.

Step #4: Name your list and make sure it is relevant to your product and niche.

Step #5: Write an attention grabbing tagline. This provides your unique selling proposition in your niche. Not sure how to write this? Think of 5-6 words that are beneficial in context and relate to your niche. These 5-6 words may be just want you need to create your tagline.

Tip: A short tagline is preferred at 7-10 words in length. Your tagline should demonstrate why your product or service is unique. Also make sure to convey that your product or service is the only solution to the customer’s problem so that they will automatically choose your product or service over your competitors.

Step #6: You have to capture the attention of your target market. You can accomplish this by writing a 15-30 description of the benefits of your product.

Tip: Your goal is to convert leads and prospects into paying customers.

Step #7: The fortune is in the follow up. You can follow up in a variety of manners. An example is to send a newsletter. Another example is to have an Autoresponder that sends follow up emails on a specific schedule. You can also send updates and announcement emails to your list as a means of follow up.

Tip: Autoresponder sequence.

Introduce yourself. Your customers need to know you, like you, and trust you in order to buy from you.

“The DEEP Formula for Internet Success”

The DEEP Formula:
DEEP #1 D = Diverse – You need a network of lists and sub-lists. Email marketing gives you lists, but you also need sub-lists.

Following are four sub-lists/databases you should build.
1. Announcement list database: The topics of announcements range from free updates, eBooks, to allowing other publishers print your articles in their newsletters. The announcement list lets people know that new things are available and asks the list if they are interested in the new items.

An example of an announcement list is when you ask people to subscribe to your list to be notified when you have new products available. Another example is when software companies ask for your email address so they can inform you of software updates. Another example is to have people give you their email address so they can find out more information in a series. These are very effective ways to capture the email addresses of your customers.

2. Registration database: An example is to give away something free, such as an eBook, to get their email address. Another example is software programs that have a free trial period after which the software is locked until you register for an official copy of it.

Tip: You can allow people to pass the eBook or software around to other people. This is viral marketing that will greatly increase the number of people in your list because they have to register to use the official copy of the software (and unlock the software).

3. Partnership database: Create this through joint ventures and partnerships.

4. Bonuses database: Instead of just giving away free items, have the people request them. For example, have people give you their name and email before they can obtain the free eBook or bonus.

Tip: Send an Autoresponder sequence of emails to these lists in which you provide valuable content as well as sell your products and services. If you want to make money then keep sending these emails to your lists.

DEEP #2 E = Effective. You need to maximize your profits. You must provide quality and useful content for your subscribers. You should give content first to prove your worth and then sell to them. If you provide quality information they will buy from you.

DEEP #3 E = Educational. You need to educate your subscribers and continue to build relationships. Don’t sell to them all the time because they will not trust you and become tired of your constant selling. Remember that these are people and not just email addresses. You should look out for their best interest by giving them education and help. This generosity will make them want to buy from you.

DEEP #4 P = Proactive. You need to aggressively build your lists. Always look for opportunities to build your list. For example, if you participate in a joint venture then find ways to increase your list from this.

Tip: With a good list you can generate profits within hours. Build a relationship with your list and you’re a golden.

Warmest regards,

“Your $100,000 Teleseminar: Are you prepared?”

Let’s say that you want to have a free teleseminar on a Thursday. This is the perfect day of the week to try to make $100,000 through this call. You’ve let people know about the call by sending an email giving the date and time, but what else do you need to do to prepare?

Follow these steps:

Step #1: Get the phone lines for the teleseminar. Book them with the phone company. Use the website http://www.freeteleconnection.com if you are going to need less than 100 phone lines for the call. Use http://www.eagletelecom.com if you will have more than 100 people on the call.

You need to make sure that you have enough phone lines for the call. You need to book the lines first so you can give people the telephone number to call and the pin number to use.

Step #2: Set up a squeeze page. This squeeze page is specifically designed to get people to sign up for the teleseminar. It is a called a “squeeze page-tele”. It lets people know all about the call including the time and what will be talked about on the call. Have people subscribe at this page. The Autoresponder will capture their information and immediately send them an email. The email will thank them for signing up for the teleseminar and give them the telephone number, pin code, and instructions.

Tip: Getting rich is not about originality, it is about modeling great things. Success leaves clues so use templates from successful teleseminars used in the past.

Make sure you ask for these three things on the squeeze page:
1. Ask for their name.
2. Ask for their email address
3. Ask for their phone number

Why should you also get their phone number? Let’s say the teleseminar is going to be at 9pm. At 8:45pm you send an email reminder about the call. Then at 8:50pm you send out a voice broadcast to remind people about the call. Most people don’t send out this voice broadcast which can be very effective in getting more people to actually show up for the call. The voice broadcast gets them on the phone so they will stay on the phone for your teleseminar.

What should you say in the voice broadcast? Say something like the following…

“Hi this is Matt Bacak. I just wanted to let you know that tonight I have special guest “X” to talk about “X”. You are registered for the call at this number. I want to make sure you get on the call. The phone number is “X” and the pin code is “X”. If you miss that phone number, don’t worry. Just check your email because I sent this information to your email five minutes ago. I wish I could call everybody personally, but I am already on the call waiting for you.”

So when you send out the voice broadcast then you have already gotten the phone in their hands. (They need the phone in order to get on the call.) This strategy will increase the amount of attendance you will have.

“FAQ about Email and Autoresponder software”

If you want to make money in your Internet business you know the importance of sending out emails. Emails aid in the relationship with your subscribers. It also trains subscribers to buy products from you. You will send numerous emails and come across questions about your emails and Autoresponder software programs. Read on to find the answers to common email and Autoresponder software questions.

AutoResponse Plus Questions
Question: Here’s my situation. As an affiliate, I sent out a broadcast email to my list. I’m having trouble with inserting the first name in the proper area of the broadcast email. My question is – How do I insert the first name in the first name slot correctly?

Answer: Go into your AutoResponse Plus software program. Look up in the right hand corner of the screen. In the RED area there will be a line that says “Dynamic Content”. Click on this and it will bring up a page that shows you what the email broadcast page should look like. Follow this format and AutoResponse Plus will automatically populate the first name slot correctly. You can preview the page to double check that you inserted the first name in the appropriate spot.

Question: What does the AutoResponse Plus backup save?

Answer: It saves your list into your AutoResponse Plus account. So if you messed up your account then you can find this backup and fix your account. It is also recommended to save a backup to your computer as well.

Email Questions:
Question: Does AOL have any new rules that certain words such as “free” are no longer a barrier?

Answer: AOL constantly tries to prevent spamming which can have a rollover affect into legitimate emails as well. In the past, you had to insert extra punctuation with words such as “free”. For example, you had to write “f.ree” to get your email through the AOL spam filter.

AOL rules change often. I find out the changes through testing. Lately, I haven’t had any problems with words such as “free”. Currently, you can write them without extra punctuation.

Question: Does AOL have any new rules about what content is required in your email?

Answer: AOL does have one new rule. When you send out an email you need to have your name, address, phone number, and an unsubscribe link in your email. AOL wants to know that you are legitimate.

“FAQ about running your Internet business”

Do you have questions about your Autoresponder, articles, and creating your business website? Maybe you don’t have questions today, but these questions could pop up tomorrow. So you need to be aware of these common questions. Knowing the answers to these questions can save you precious time and money. Time, in fact, that could be spent making more money instead of trying to figure out a solution to the problem.

So here’s a list of questions regarding Autoresponders, articles, and your business website:

Autoresponder Question: I am moving an old list that I haven’t followed up with or contacted in awhile. I want to move this old list from the AutoResponse Plus to 1Shopping Cart. Can I just import this list into 1Shopping Cart or do I need to contact each person on the list?

Autoresponder Answer: When you move the list to 1Shopping Cart they will make the list double opt-in. 1Shopping Cart will send your list an email about this. So make sure to send an email to the list ahead of time so you can prepare them for the 1ShoppingCart email.

Note: If you haven’t really talked to these people or followed up then your response rate is probably going to be really low. Still do it, but just note that you might lose a lot of emails during the transition.

Articles Question: I know that submitting articles is a great way of viral marketing. I send out several articles on a consistent basis. I use the article submitter called Article Submitter Pro. Are there any other article submission programs that are faster?

Articles Answer: No, nothing is faster than Article Submitter Pro. If you want to try another article submitter program try Article Announcer.

Business Website Question: How do you select which keywords to put in the HTML code for your business website?

Business Website Answer: It depends. If you don’t use conversion tracking then look at keywords that have the highest click through rate. If you ARE using conversion tracking then look at the words that are converting the most. Put the top 2-3 keywords in your title tag. Don’t have more than 83 characters in your title tag.

Business Website Question: What is conversion tracking?

Business Answer: Login to your Google AdWords account to find conversion tracking. It will give you a code where you can track cost per lead and your lead conversion. It tracks from when people land on your website to getting to your thank you page. The click through rate, on the other hand, tells you the time it takes from somebody searching Google to the time they reach your website.

“7 Steps to Market and Promote your Internet Business”

For your Internet business to flow smoothly and reap the highest amount of profit you can, you need to know the order in which certain tasks should be accomplished. Following is a step-by-step guide to get your Internet business marketing and promotion off the ground and running like a well oiled machine.

Step #1: Make sure your merchant account is set up so you can receive payments from customers. Use the merchant program “KickStart Cart”.

Step #2: Write at least 10 articles that provide valuable content as well as promote your products and services. Write as many articles as you can. Articles are an exceptionally powerful promotional tool.

Step #3: Make sure your Autoresponder program is set up.

Step #4: Send out 10 articles as quickly as possible through Article Submitter Pro. These articles will help drive traffic to your squeeze page.

Step #5: Check that your Google AdWords program to ensure that it is running properly.

Step #6: Repurpose content so you can get more mileage out of it. For example, take the summaries from your articles and turn them into emails. This will increase the number of emails in your Autoresponder sequence.

Step #7: Create a habit of submitting articles through Article Submitter Pro. The search engines love to see updated content. So strive to send articles on a regular basis such as every two days.

Tip: It is better to submit 1 article to a hundred different sites than to submit a bunch of articles to the same site. By submitting articles to hundreds of different sites you are increasing your presence on the web.

These are core tasks that you should complete on a consistent basis. These tasks may seem overwhelming if you view them as a whole. Instead, think of each step as a bite size achievable task. If you take your marketing and promotion one step at a time then pretty soon you’ll have covered everything and your profits will skyrocket.

Good luck and get to work!

“FAQ’s about Autoresponders – Part Two”

Still have questions about Autoresponders? Following are another set of frequently asked questions about Autoresponders. These answers may help you solve a problem or fine tune the way you use Autoresponders.

Autoresponder Question: Here’s my situation. I am changing the way I create my website so that I now use FrontPage. The Question is – Should I start creating a squeeze page before this transfer? If so, when a client signs up on my squeeze page where will their name and email go?

Answer: Yes, it is fine to create a squeeze page before the transfer. If a client subscribes to your list through your squeeze page then their name and email will go to your Autoresponder. Your Autoresponder is a separate program from your website. Therefore, the name and email will always go into your Autoresponder because it is linked to your hosting account.

Autoresponder Question: Here’s my situation. I use several squeeze pages, each of which has their own tracking tag. The question is – Do the client emails from all of these squeeze pages go into the same Autoresponder, but still keep their appropriate tracking tag?

Answer: Yes

Autoresponder Question: If you have several squeeze pages with unique tracking tags, will they all give the same thank you page in the Autoresponder?

Answer: Yes, unless you set up separate thank you pages for each tracked squeeze page. For example, you can have a thank you page that thanks somebody from coming from “Google” or “Yahoo”, etc. However, this can be very time consuming. It might be a lot easier to just have one thank you page that promotes you and your business. Does it really matter if you thank them for where they came from or just the fact that they are there?

Just thank them and move onto selling and promotion.

Autoresponder Question: Is the List-Opt website worth it? Does it work?

Answer: The List-Opt website has produced various results for different Internet businesses. Some Internet businesses have found success with it while others have had mediocre or poor results. You just have to try it out for yourself and see how it goes.
